Halloween 2019 I dressed up as a clown, I said I should be a clown, but to be honest learning to make balloon animals scared me, what if I couldn’t do it. So I didn’t. Covid hit and it lead me to start doing make up videos. For like 80 some days I did my makeup crazy cause I wasn’t leaving my house and no one saw me. Things started getting back to normal but the damage was done, I couldn’t leave my house without crazy makeup. Then came the clothes. It started with double sided skirts that had rainbow patterns. Then came my first pair of clown pants. Wearing those for the first time was very eye drawing and a little scary but when I had a 5 year old looked me up and down, shook his head and said “you like what you like” I knew there were more clown pants in my future. I had the clothes and my makeup look, all I needed to do was learn how to make some balloon animals. So I did it, I ordered me a pump, got some balloons and started watching YouTube. I started with a dog, I made so many dogs that first time then I had my friend critique each one. 😂 some of those first dogs make me laugh, a sword was next and then all I needed was to practice and kids so I could give them away. summer night music series became my new hang out in spring of 2021 and all the kids started to recognize me. I booked my first birthday party in July of 2021 and had a party almost every month. Now a year later I book several birthday parties a month, I have had a couple school PTO events, booked me for a members only event and now I’m working with and we will be at all Sunday games this summer.
I feel so blessed this is where my life has lead me and this is something I get to do. I look back on my life and because of choices I have made I am living a grand adventure. Ask yourself, how many times has the thought of failure held you back? How many times have you taken the safe path because of the obstacles in the adventure path? Do not let failure hold you back from being the best you. If you fail, you get up again brush off and keep on going. Failing at life is not an option, failing at obstacles is life.

There will be hayrides through the vineyard, live music for dancing and pumpkins to purchase to decorate. I hope to see you and the kids, I’ll have balloons and candy.
