And Advanced Ballroom & Latin will begin on Thursday, May 5th at 7pm.

Sign-ups are now open for the next Session of Group Classes beginning next week, August 24th and 26th! There are 3 classes available based on level:

Beginner Ballroom- Tuesdays at 8pm
Intermediate Level 1- Tuesdays at 7pm
Intermediate Level 2/Advanced- Thursdays at 7pm

We have added 2 new group classes to our Live Well Dance Earl St Location.

Beginner Class begins on Tuesday, July 13th at 7pm
Intermediate/Advanced Class begins on Thursday, July 15th at 7pm

Each session will run for 4 weeks.

I am happy to announce that we are moving back to a more traditional style group class setting in the Lafayette location at this time. Space is limited and will be a first come first serve basis.

At this time it is still *couples only* group class.

In a fun, social group environment, students learn patterns and techniques for many different ballroom and latin dances. Group lessons are taught at the Morton Community Center in West Lafayette, IN.

The WL Parks & Rec does not have a set date to resume classes at that location, but it most likely won't be until at least fall, if they resume this year at all. We will keep you posted!

We have had the privilege of teaching the Waltz at the Cinderella Ball for the past several years, and this year, Willowstone Family Services stepped outside of the beautiful ballroom and onto the beautiful grounds of the Tippecanoe County Amphitheatre to hold a fun, creative and socially distanced event! The girls got to do a fun craft, hear a story, go on a carriage ride, take home a t-shirt and gift, and instead of dancing at the ball, they danced at home on Zoom!

Willowstone Family Services has been supporting the Lafayette Community with services that help strengthen families, relationships, and individuals. They offer help with addiction, parenting, and more.

We want to support Willowstone by offering a FREE GROUP CLASS lesson (1 hour) to anyone who makes a donation to Willowstone starting now through the month of September!

Summer Update: We miss seeing you all! We hope everyone has been staying well during this time.

The WL Parks & Rec Center has decided not to hold classes during summer, so there will not be any Ballroom and Latin Group classes being held at the Happy Hallow location.

As we get new information about the Fall schedule, or any other dance opportunities over summer, we will keep you updated.

We got a sneak preview of Jessica Foster and Chris Spalding's dance routine with special guest, Addyson! Jessica is our sweet & talented local celebrity, Chris is co-owner & instructor for the Ft. Wayne Ballroom Company, and Addyson is a Riley Champion- she has got some moves! They have a pretty spunky routine for this year's Reason to Dance, Reason for Hope. This month, all of the dancers will do a video taping that will be shown at Riley, and the kids get to vote for their favorite routine for the Children's Choice Award. We are just about 1 week away from having 2nd location which is a dedicated Dance Studio located in the Greater Lafayette Area located at 404 N Earl Ave Ste A. We will be offering this summer a Friday night beginner Ballroom and Latin dance class at our new location. Cost is $50 Per person per 5 week session. Class will start May 31st at 7 pm till 8 pm and run 5 weeks to June 28th. Group size will be limited to the first 20 people. A partner is HIGHLY encouraged to ensure you have plenty of practice time with someone. Reservations will open in a few days and link will be posted.

We had a great night at this year's Reason to Dance, Reason for Hope! Our celebrity, BeAnn Younker, came in 3rd place for fundraising- she personally raised over $13,000 for Riley! Not only did she do an awesome job on her dances, but BeAnn also ended up as another part of the entertainment when she was asked to play piano & sing Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Our only 10 may have been from Cheryl Fessenden Crabill, but that's ok- we were up against some really great routines, and their Foxtrot was in the running for the Children's Choice Award, which means it made a lot of kids smile. That's definitely a win! :) We were also joined by Riley Champion & awesome dancer, Kate Malone, who did a fantastic job! ♥️♥️♥️
