You are more than you think you are.
We have a limited amount of these shirts. Sizes will run up to ###L for our big n’ spicy supporters 🌶️ Shipping only, no deliveries. This run will help make it down to Austin and get established in our new place. We found a spot with a good friend under a temporary lease for $1,200 that we can go to get established, but we still need to fix the air conditioner in our vehicle. That will cost about $350 and we are hustling to get that done. The travel trailer has not come through for us yet, lots of obstacles with this but it’s still a goal. We have been staying on couches and in cheap hotels since losing the house. It’s been rough but we have chosen to keep a positive mindset and outlook on everything because sometimes things happen not on OUR time, but in divine time. Thank you everyone for the support.

Update: I made new shirt designs. Putting a positive spin on a trying situation. Homeless aka nomadic now. Everything has happened at once. Makes it a little harder to get this business launched but I am ready!! I have a fundraiser going. Goal for today is $300 to launch the store.

My truck getting repossessed, that was a heart breaker. I couldn’t keep up with the payments when I lost my job and even though I was trying to catch up, they still took it. My belongings are still locked inside and I’ve been trying to make an appointment to retrieve them. We still have Chris’ truck thankfully, just need to fix his a/c.

I know as soon as I am able to put some $ behind the marketing, it will grow quickly. I’ve done this for other clients and succeeded, it’s time to do it for myself. I have multiple years of marketing experience and a creative brain. I am making this happen.
$300 would cover the cost of the print store, the POS system, and the 3 ads I want to run.

I’m grateful that I have people who have reached out and offered their spaces, spare rooms, couches, places to land softly for a little bit. 🙏 Trying to get back to Austin and rebuild there while the online store builds traction.

Our fundraiser is still going but I’ve been hesitant to push it because it makes me uncomfortable asking for help. I am trying to offer things in return.

We still haven’t secured a travel trailer and could really use a little community support at least until we are able to get the store launched 🙏

Update: I need help moving asap and we need a place to go. I was told by my lawyer I’d have a couple of weeks to figure this situation out while we build our case, but he told me I need to get things out today or my belongings are at risk of being put out on the street. Sadly, we may not have a winning case for this eviction. Chris is working on a storage situation right now as I am loading things and frantically trying not to lose my mind.

Before anyone judges me, our travel trailer financing fell through due to credit, we are trying desperately to get into one out right so we have a guaranteed place, and that’s why I started the GoFundMe. I’ve been trying to sell everything I have. I’ve had a hard time making videos about this or discussing this at all because it’s heavy and somewhat embarsssing. I don’t wanna ask for help. I’ve always done things on my own and been able to figure it out.

I’ve been pushing back on this holdover eviction because I feel it’s unjust due to the nature of it and my countless attempts to work out some sort of negotiation with them have fallen on deaf ears. The property management company who I rent from was my employer earlier this year and let me go in May for getting a part time job to supplement my income. I was classified as an independent contractor making less than $2,000 a month but working nearly full time hours. I was let go when I got a side job at Anna’s for extra money because I was not “fully available” for them, and because I chose to work from my home more during that time due to my mental state after Memaw passed. My mental health just sort of spiraled after losing that job.

They took my income away and then tried to evict me the next month for not having money to pay. The same woman who let me go is the one who manages where I live. There’s a lot of stuff here that I feel like just isn’t right.

I own that I did not get out of here on time and I banked on us getting that trailer. I also own that I didn’t have thousands saved up to prepare for this. I guess I just thought things were gonna work out. Life has thrown a curve ball at me right now and I’m not sure if I can catch it. I’m terrified about the unknown. Being homeless is scary.
