The MS KICK - Start Business Pitch Program “Building Your Business for Sustainability” applications are open now‼️

Overview:

The MS KICK-Start Business Pitch Competition is an 8-week curriculum-based program that includes business skills workshops, optional business sessions, and homework assignments. The knowledge learned will assist small businesses with building their businesses for sustainability. The participants will receive points for their attendance at each workshop, assignments submitted, and bonus points for attending the optional sessions. The optional sessions will also be open to any small businesses in all industries and not solely to those competing. At the end of the 8-week curriculum, the top performers will conduct Business Pitches to a panel of judges to receive a reimbursable grant award for first, second, and third place that will go towards facilitating growth in their business.

Minimum Requirements:
Culinary Business located in Shreveport/Bossier, Louisiana
IRS EIN for their business
Louisiana Business State License
State of Louisiana Food Safety Certification
