Summer grilling season is officially here, and there's one mistake we see over and over again. Opening the grill too often.

We get it—everyone wants to check on the food.
But every time you lift the lid, heat escapes and cooking temperatures fluctuate.

Instead:
Preheat your grill completely
Trust your cooking times
Open only when necessary

A closed grill creates consistent heat, better caramelization, and more evenly cooked food. Sometimes the best thing you can do is leave it alone and let the grill do its job.
