𝟱 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴

1. Not having enough food or drinks during a cocktail hour.
2. Having too long of a reception.
3. Not thinking about the weather.
4. Having too little or too much alcohol.
5. Hiring a DJ or band that can’t read the room.
Let’s talk guest lists! 🗒️
Creating guest lists can be difficult + daunting. The easiest thing you can do is start off with a funnel. The funnel is everyone you think you want to invite to your wedding. Once your ideal guest list is created, then you break everyone into categories.
✨ Section #1: The top of the funnel. These people will be the ones you know the day cannot happen without. Maybe your: parents, grandparents, best friends.
✨ Section #2: People who you really want there. Think extended family or friends.
✨ Section #3: co-workers + their spouses.
Once you section out your list, it will be easier for you to stay on track with the amount of people. Don’t worry! It’s totally okay for your list to ebb and flow. We know the struggle of wanting everyone there, but invite those people who you can’t do the day without. 🤍 one of the biggest tips of advice I give to all my couples that come in the door, is who has played a major role in your relationship, who will be there a year or five from now, and who can you just not do the day without?
