Linda, the youngest of the siblings, loves the stage, and since moving to The Villages at the end of 2019, she has used her training and stage presence to obtain the role of "Rosie" in the 2021 production of "Mamma Mia",

and she is auditioning for more parts in musical theater. She was also in the 2021 Christmas Show "Carols By Candlelight" and she has just been asked to be in an International Variety Show. Nicholas
Jon, the middle sibling, is the musical genius of the trio. He organizes the music, determines the parts and harmonies for the songs, and directs his sisters at rehearsals. Jon is often commissioned through his website NicholasArrangements.com to create A Ca****la arrangements for groups around the world. Back in Kentucky, he was the director of three barbershop choruses, so it is skill, experience, and talent that leads to the beautiful final product that is a "Tight Genes" song version. Karen has had varied singing experience through her years with church choirs and groups. But it has been since she has been singing with her siblings that she has elevated her game and become a vital member of the trio. The creation of a trio with her brother and sister was her dream, and with all of them now living in The Villages together, that dream has culminated in "Tight Genes".

Spur of the moment concert. October 4th, 2024 under the Pavilian at First Responders Rec. Center. 3:00 - 6:00. This is a picnic style event. Brings chairs, drinks and snacks for yourself. We will perform for about an hour and a half. All tips/donations will go to Hurricane Helene relief. We have the corn hole courts and fire pit reserved also. We doubt we will need the fire pit.

Mark your calendars!! Our next quarterly FREE showcase concert is Sunday, August 18th at the Rohan Regional Recreation Center in the "stage room". Doors open at 5:30 and the music starts at 6:00.

As with all our quarterly concerts, this one supports a very worthy cause - The Infant & Toddler Pantry at The Congregational Church in Summerfield (https://thecongregationalchurch.org/infant-toddler-pantry/). Entry is free but donations are much appreciated ($10/person suggested but not required).

We will have tables and chairs set up, so bring drinks and snacks. Open to all Villages Residents and guests with proper Guest IDs. If you are coming from outside The Villages, let us know so we can obtain Guest IDs for you in advance!

Come listen to some great songs that you all know infused with the special Tight Genes family harmonies!! And come ready to dance and have a great time in the air conditioned comfort of Rohan Rec Center!!

We are pleased to announce our July Piedmont Social event is a fun filled musical entertainment performance by Tight Genes. Tight Genes is the name of a trio of talented singing siblings – Karen, Jon, and Linda – and they all live right here in The Villages.

Tight Genes sing a variety of music from the 40's to the present including many genres such as Country, Pop, Classic Rock, Funk, etc. Their musical selections are from many artists you are all familiar with. Bring along your dancing shoes as you won’t be able to stay in your seat.

Tight Genes performs regularly throughout The Villages. You don’t want to miss this special evening of music, harmonies, laughter and dancing.

We are having a concert on July 2nd at Alamanda Recreation Center from 1:00 - 4:00 for a social club called the Darlington Drivers. They said we could invite fans to join in. There will be a limited amount of tables. Please message us, if you would like to come, by this Sunday.
