Taking bread pre-orders for next week! 😋🥖🥯

The week after next, I will not be baking or creating bouquets so be sure to stock up and freeze your bread if you need to. 😃

* I will be making 2 of each type of bread listed on the menu only and they will be first come first serve.

What you get with LulaBlooms Flowers:

• Seasonal blooms. I grow in the field with no hoop, so I have to work with Mother Nature’s timing. You won’t find tulips from me in the summer, or sunflowers in the spring.
• Peace of mind. I am pesticide-free, meaning I live in harmony with the pollinators.
• Perfectly imperfect stems and blooms. Why? See point 2 above. 😉
• Bright, punchy colors. I mix in pink and blush, but orange and blue are just more fun!
• Healthy stems. I believe in soil health and measuring the BRIX level. Healthy soil = healthy plants = less pest pressure. Insects might bite into a leaf, but the goal is to have such strong leaves that they can’t chew them and move on down the road.
• Properly conditioned flowers. I take extra steps to help you get the longest vase life. Don’t forget to use the included packet of flower food!
• Knowledge and generosity. If you have any questions about a flower, or want to learn to grow them yourself, I’ll share all of my knowledge with you…and probably some seeds, too.

Wait…are these sunflowers white?

They sure are! I grow ProCut White Lite (yellow centers) and White Nite (dark centers) for the first wave of sunflowers. This is the only wave of them, as the summer insects love to munch on white petals, and I don’t use pesticides. 🐞🐝

Starting in June I’ll harvest the bright yellow and orange sunnies you’re used to, some with bright green centers!

As we near the end of summer and into fall, expect terracotta, dark orange, and deep red colors.

Do you want to grow your own? I’ll let you in on a trade secret - purchase the ProCut varieties from Sunflower Selections. They are so easy - just poke a hole in the ground about 1/2” deep and cover with soil. Place seeds 4” apart so the stems don’t grow too thick. This produces a nice 4” flower head.

What flowers can you expect from LulaBlooms this summer?

• Sunflowers in white, yellow, orange, red, terracotta, and plum.

• Lilies in white and pink.

• Plume and cockscomb celosia in bright and muted colors.

• Zinnias in every color of the rainbow, PLUS soft blush and peach, and the ever-gorgeous Queeny varieties.

• Feverfew in white.

• Cosmos in many shades of pink and white.

• Gomphrena in pinks, purples, white, and strawberry red. These sweet little poofs make every bouquet pop!

•Dahlias - more than 50 varieties! These are wonderful for event work such as weddings due to their shorter vase life. However, a few dahlias will be made available at the flower cart just so you can appreciate their exquisite beauty.

How to shop:
You’ll find LulaBlooms flowers at Think Ability Market in downtown Duncan beginning in June.

Flowers will be available Parisian-style, in straight bunches, so you can create your own bouquet. I’ve always been enamored by this way of buying flowers, and I genuinely believe you’ll love it, too.
