What a glorious set of Swan Lake performances our dancers presented this past weekend! Frank and I are so very proud of each and every one of our talented cast members - from the youngest to the most experienced. As our audiences witnessed, there was exquisite artistry displayed on stage from beginning to end!
There are so many to thank....
To our exceptional guest artists Gabriel Weiner, Alaina Hogan, Megan Thiemet, William Heide, Alek Schroeder, and Jet Terry, thanks to each of you for adding so much charisma to our production.
To our “Be A Fairy Program” cast members - it was exciting to watch you learn and experience the magic of a full-length ballet! Together with our well-seasoned Primary and Elementary level dancers, you added a very welcome dose of sweetness and charm to this production. We can’t wait to see you continue to grow!
Thank you to Board President Scott Heinemeyer, Academy Executive Director Ashley Heinemeyer, and the entire Board of Directors for your ongoing benevolent oversight. Special mention to Board Member AnneMarie Chambers for launching and leading the Sponsorship Campaign which has ensured a very welcome supporting force for all our artistic endeavors.
Thank you to our Swan Lake Sponsors Executive Financial Planning Group Raymond James®, Molly and the Magic Suitcase Kids Travel Books, Shimmy Dancewear, Focus On Studio, The Stephenson Family, The Warhurst Family, Diamond and Matthew Wittlief, The Indiana Arts Commission, The National Endowment for the Arts, and Arts Midwest.
Thank you to STAR Bank Performing Arts Center Director Isaac Spillman and his staff for their welcoming demeanor and excellent professional support of our production.
Thank you to On The Spot Productions for their performance videography and administration of our digital access platform; and to our photographers, Jenny D Photography, Christie McLaughlin Photography, and Cole TerBush, who always give so generously of their time and talent to capture such magical images of our dancers!
A particular thank you to the BTCA Parents Organization in recognition of all the work they do on behalf of our performances and productions from auditions (and often before) through pre-production, production week, and performances, until all the sets, props and costumes are put in storage. This includes the actual construction and redesigning of sets props costumes and headpieces! (Such talent among our parents and alumnae parents!!!)
Thank you to Anderson Young Ballet Theatre & Academy for generously providing certain costume pieces to complete our production wardrobe.
Thank you to our faculty members, coaches, choreographers, and executive staff for their valuable part in making BTCA the exceptional entity that it is.
And finally, to all our audience members and supporters, thank you for your dedication to our dancers, our productions, and our studio. We appreciate you!
If we have missed anyone, please accept our apologies, and our heartfelt thanks for your contributions.
