I find a reoccurring question amongst new and seasoned players alike.

How much “ammo” (BB’s) do I need for a milsim?

The answer is YES…

Typically this would depend on your player class and more specifically the event itself. However, the general rule of thumb I recommend is 5k-6k BB’s per day.

So, for a 2 day event I would recommend you have atleast 10k BBs.

OP OVERLORD HAS BEEN CANCELED!

PLEASE READ BELOW!!!!!

First, I want to say thank you for signing up for Operation Overlord. We greatly appreciate your business whether this was going to be your first event with us or your 5th.

Now, let me explain why this is being canceled and then I will explain how we will handle funds.

This is the first time we have ever had to cancel an event and it is extremely disappointing because I was sincerely looking forward to this one as I am myself a huge WW2 buff.

Some of you may know and I'm sure some of you do not. We recently hosted an event at Cresson State Prison. Following that event another company which I will not name has been slandering us and calling us N**i supporters. Obviously, this is bad for business and shines a light on us that is completely false and unwarranted but still negative.

We do not now, in the past, or in the future support nazi's.

Given this event is a WW2 event I can only imagine the quite frankly BS that will emerge following this event. To be honest I am just too old for these games. We have discussed as a company that our best option is to cancel this game to not allow another company to "gain" ammunition to use against us for slander, bad mouthing, or any other form of defamation or harm to our growing business.

I do sincerely apologize for cancelling this event as I know so many of you have signed up, asked us about it, and have been getting your gear together for it. The situation definitely sucks and if it wasn't for this new issue as described above this event would be in full swing.

Again, I want to thank each and every single one of you for signing up for this event and any other event we have hosted in the past and in the future. We wouldn't be where we are without your unwavering loyalty and commitment to us.

So, we have always said we don't offer refunds for our events which is true but since this is the first time we have ever canceled an event we are going to have to make some adjustments. Basically, we have a few options. Option 1 we can send you a full refund, option 2 we can offer a rain check to another one of our events either in 2024 or in 2025. (You would need to pay the difference if there is any), or option 3 we can send you a digital gift card valued at the cost of your ticket purchase which you can redeem on the website for products (we have over 450 items listed) or for a future event. Gift cards never expire.
