BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

As of today, Wonder Productions is my full time job! I loved my day job, but this business is my baby, and I want to give more of myself to the many brides, families, and individuals who have entrusted me with their once in a lifetime moments and their finances. For those who are expecting deliverables, yet, this means that I can devote a normal work day to working on edits and not an hour here or there after my kids go to bed.

With this big change does come one caveat. I have decided that to minimize burnout, and maximize my efficiency, I will be setting strict boundaries with my "hours of operation". Please note the new hours!! Emails, phone calls, texts, etc. that are after hours will be addressed the next business day.

If you have any questions about this change, please feel free to reach out, and I can explain more. In the meantime, I would appreciate all the prayers and patience that can be afforded me and my family while we raise and teach our boys that you can chase your dreams and pay the bills at the same time.

Continuing right along with my big content drop, I wanted to get back to our roots a bit: my couples.

Why do I continue to trust in this business? Why do I dedicate myself to continual improvement in my editing, in my sales, in my personability, in my equipment?

It's because of the stories. Because I love to hear and retell every single couple's unique and amazing story. So here's a small sneak peek of an engagement session that is coming down the pipeline. I bring up the concept of stories because this couple has one of the best I've heard in a LONG time. Here's the TL:DR.

These two met when she found him running a blackjack table at a casino. Bobbi said she was immediately attracted to him, and Laine said that up until then, he had been having a regular boring night. As soon as she showed up, though, he couldn't get her off his mind. He risked his own job to find a way to get to know this girl, and when he finally got that first date, he said that she allowed him to just be himself and geek out over his music.

Over time, Bobbie came to think of Laine as her safe space, the one person who she could just be herself around and not have to put on a face of any kind. There was no one specific moment they both knew it was forever, but it just was.

Laine took a new job at a factory ,and, though the two of them faced some financial pressure for a while, he said that he was always unwavering that his sign on bonus would be what he used to buy her ring. When it finally did come, he bought the ring that week; a move, she said, she could have never predicted. She always saw how stressed he was to provide for her, and her heart always broke for his heart.

He took her out to a favorite spot by Silver Lake and found the courage to ask her to marry him. She said, he couldn't stop staring at her and smiling. He said, he was just trying to be patient for a good moment to get on one knee while her back was turned. It never happened. Instead, he pulled her in close, kissed her, and asked if he could ask her a question. According to him, it was an eternity before she finally said yes.

Now, they work and operate as a team, more than ever. Laine is an up and coming DJ, and Bobbie runs a baking business. They enjoy being the one-two punch at weddings. Laine also enjoys playing guitar on the side, and has promised me that he will play something at his wedding ;)

It's been a while since I've been able to post a highlight reel, so how about a double feature!? First up, here's Shelby and Trevor's winter wedding. What's more fun than flying my drone during the fall? Flying it in the winter over a frozen lake and seeing the snow everywhere.

Let's not let this last weekend go by without acknowledging the other amazing couple that we went and filmed! The Dunnicks are a wild, crazy, unique, and fun couple, and they have such a great story to share with the world. We thought that it would be a crime to not let them tell it to you in their own words. This is Jessica and Tim's love story. Congratulations you two! Thank you for exemplifying the love of Jesus, and thank you for getting us hooked on Crumbl Cookies!
