The 4th Annual Mountain House Halloween Home Decorating Contest is back from the dead, with three $100 prizes for our winners.
The contest runs from Oct. 24th to 30th, with judging on the 30th.

Entries must send their name, address, and contact number - with two pictures of their decorated house before Oct. 23rd. Email [email protected] to enter.

Less than 60 days remain until A VERY SCARY BLOCK PARTY - Mountain House's most anticipated event of 2023 returns to Bethany Village Park on Halloween Night the 31st of October.

This family-friendly outdoor event features spooky vendors, food trucks, photo ops, a ghoulish DJ dance party, and live entertainment. Fully themed with a massive decorated stage filled with lighting, special effects, and a laser light show.

Mountain House Events is closing out the inaugural season of its Summer Movies in the Park Series with the hit Disney film Encanto. This breakout film will be sure to delight the whole family as it has already earned many accolades like a Golden Globe Award and Oscar nominations, among a plethora of rave reviews by viewers and critics alike.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 26th at 6:30 pm at Bethany Park at 570 S Escuela, Mountain House, CA (You'll find us on the hillside at Escuela & Legacy near the creek trail).

Attendees are encouraged to pack a picnic, blanket, and lawn chairs, and grab their loved ones for a special night under the stars.

The Movies in the Park series powered by MattDisko.com was created to bring family fun to the Mountain House community while also showcasing local parks.

The event series will return in October screening a Halloween film favorite.

Join San Joaquin Kannada Sangha - SJKS in Mountain House this Saturday, Aug. 5th for the SJKS 5K Run & Walkathon, with all proceeds going to the local School Backpack Drive.

This 5k starts at 8 AM from Northern Central Park near the Cricket Pitch, circling Altamont via Bethany Creek Trail then back to the park.

Meet your fellow neighbors and keep our community safe. Join MHCSD and your local community this Tuesday, August 1 from 5-9 pm at Central Park for the 40th annual National Night Out.

Mountain House will host a community event with kids activities, safety demonstrations, and exhibits by emergency personnel including; CHP - Tracy, San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office, Mountain House Fire Department, MH Public Safety, and more.

Mountain House Fire Department crew will be serving up FREE hot dogs. Kids will have a chance to meet McGruff the Crime Dog, and Sparky the Fire Dog. Be a part of this nationwide event!

Per MHCSD Recreation Services as of 7/11:

Out of precaution for our residents, staff, vendors, band, and stage and sound crews, we’ve unfortunately had to cancel the Music in the Park scheduled for July 15.

Extreme heat significantly increases the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

We encourage everyone to stay indoors if at all possible and avoid outdoor activities. The event will not be rescheduled at this time.
