I am going to sell my minivan. 2020 Chrysler Voyager. 65K miles. $21K. Great condition, runs fantastic and has been babied. Needs a good vacuuming...lol... Middle and back seats roll in very easily. Automatic, back up camera, lots of features and has been an awesome minivan. Reason for selling... need to get a pickup truck to haul an 18' trailer. Love my minivan, but it won't haul our newest family additions :-) More about that soon

Who feels like being a butterfly festival champion? I am looking for volunteers to help with the 2024 Mariposa Butterfly Festival. We have less than 3 months months until we open the gates to 12K attendees who LOVE Mariposa

An annual parade & festival that celebrates Mariposa, which means "butterfly" in Spanish. Mariposa residents and guests from around the world join together to celebrate the migratory pattern of the Monarch Butterflies through our beautiful Yosemite area.

Tomorrow is my last wedding of the year. What a wonderful year of weddings in Yosemite National Park and our mountain communities! I am feeling so blessed to work with such amazing couples. WOW! I spend so much time in areas with beautiful rock formations... but this migth be too close. You see, Setenil de las Bodegas is a town in the province of Cádiz, Spain, that has become famous for its dwellings built into rock overhangs above the Río Guadalporcún. I don't know.... too close?

What an incredible weekend (and it is not over yet)! Yesterday I had the honor of marrying Dejia and Christopher at Lower Yosemite Falls early in the morning. Deija and Christopher are magnetic and full of love and grace. These are two very special people destined to walk through life together. I LOVE being in the presence of LOVE!

I spent the rest of the day visiting Cathedral Beach, which is an absolute favorite spot of mine. From Cathedral Beach you can get a beautiful view of El Capitan in all of its majestic presence and from the same location, turn to capture morning rays from the Heavens. It is a spectacular place and one that I have a spiritual connection to. "My favorite log" is there.

I had family traveling with me, so we ventured to Tunnel View area. I officiated a wedding recently with a beautiful couple out there and wanted to show them the incredible view and my thrilling adventure with Cheyenne & Taylor's wedding. Next we were off to Glacier Point. GORGEOUS! 20+ years here and this view never gets old.

Afterward, we dined at the Historic Wawona Hotel, which is a special treat to see, especiallyl when the fountain in the entrance is flowing.

Our day was capped by the enchanting wedding of Oriana and Joseph in the Redwoods. Their theme was "'Till Death do us Part" with a Tim Burton flair to it, which was designed by Jenn's Joyous Events and party planning. I adore this couple! Their love has captivated my heart with their dedication to each other's happiness. They are committed to one another in absolute love!

Tonight I am off to Merced where we will celebrate wtih 300 guests at private ranch. This couple is just too much fun and they are going to be together... as the bride puts it... 4 EVAAAAAHHH. So cute!

I will share more about these adventures in love soon. We were entirely too busy for posting for several months while we hosted wedding festivals, the Yosemite Goddess Festival and community events. I love my job! It suits my spirit

It’s amazing how every trip into Yosemite is completely unique to any trip before. The riverbed is different. The trees are different. Every view is unique when we take the time to look.

I was blessed to have a wedding this last week with rain… nothing too heavy, but enough to cleanse the area make everything sparkle just a little extra and it is said that rain on your wedding day is a sign of fortune.

My couple was extremely welcoming of the rain and felt it was a unique Yosemite experience and of course they felt they would treasure the day! Such a sweet couple! 

As we turn to the new season, I look forward to the change in color in the leaves, the cool weather and soon, evenings enjoyed by a warm fire.

We are heading into October next month and my couples LOVE ceremonies that demonstrate their love for one another in their own, unique ways. It is one of the things that I love most about officiating... writing a ceremony that uniquely expresses the love that is shared and speaks to the vision of the day for my couples.

I have two couples next month with a Tim Burton themed wedding. Both of my couples share a vision, each uniquely different in the expression of their love and commitment to one another.

When doing a themed wedding, whether it be humorous, goth, based on a book, movie, or otherwise does not diminish the sincerity of the commitment, or the honor of the ceremony itself, because one... it is an expression of love and there is no higher honor than that... and two... the theme they choose is intertwined with the ceremonial words that are heartfelt from my couples and a true expression of their love for one another.

I have done themed, western shotgun weddings with tons of humor, goth weddings in costume, hallow midnight weddings, Tim Burton weddings, Princess Bride, Mel Brooks, and in each and every one of them... the common theme was the love that my couples express, the commitment they are making to one another and the lifetime of happiness the day commences.

Thank you to all of my couples who express their most vulnerable feelings of love in front of those that love them most. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your most personal journey.

We are off to another amazing Yosemite Wedding! It has been incredible watching the seasons change in the park. Snow crested mountains, dewy meadows and sun kissed waters. I absolutely love Yosemite. What a lucky girl I am to live in such a beautiful place and meet these amazing couples!
