1980 my brother Marshall & I started a roadside chicken barbecue stand at our family's Mobil station on Rt. 50, averaging about 750 half chicken dinners a weekend. The chicken was awesome but I knew there was more to grill and wanted to try smoking some barbecue also.

30 years ago I decided I wanted to make a pig cooker to smoke a couple pigs for friends. I asked Michael Cintron & Carlos Cintron to help me make a cooker just like the small backyard smoker I had. A few months later I had something I was ready to try out. Someone asked me to cook a pig for their seafood market for Tea Party Weekend.

Fast forward 30 years and the pig cooker is still going strong. It has seen over 750 pigs. The pit master has hung in there pretty well also.

I have catered more events than I can count. I have cooked in barbecue contests all over the United States & Puerto Rico. I have cooked with and for people literally from all over the world.

I have operated a 38' houseboat converted into a pink pig called "Smoke on the Water" and culminated with operating a barbecue restaurant in Isabela, PR called "La Vista Smokehouse" which received some pretty awesome accolades.

I have put in more blood, sweat & tears than I could have ever imagined was possible.

I have made lifelong friends and have memories that will last my lifetime. I have received numerous awards for my barbecue & sauces, and have been humbled by a few compliments along the way.

I would like to thank all my customers, clients and friends for what has been an incredible journey over the last 40 years.....time flies when you're having fun!
