Suns out paddleboard/floats out.. We had so much fun, we’re doing it again!

Bring your paddleboard or floaty, beverage, and come hang at Magnuson to enjoy the beautiful weather with friends and music! We will have decks, shade, space to dance, swim, chill, roll down a hill..whatever you fancy!

About Seattle Parks Foundation:

Founded as a nonprofit partner for Seattle Parks and Recreation and fueled by the energy of civic leaders whose efforts to build a 60-acre “Seattle Commons” in South Lake Union were twice thwarted at the ballot box in the mid-1990s, Seattle Parks Foundation became an independent nonprofit in 2001. Its first endeavors included supporting the acquisition and development of Lake People (Xacua’bs) Park near Columbia City, the restoration of Schurman Rock at Camp Long in West Seattle, field and play area enhancements at Maple Elementary School on Beacon Hill, and early planning for Lake Union Park.

Feeling honored to be part of such a magical event hosted by Collectively Joy and DJ Sessions.

They transformed the beautiful Arboretum into an oasis for folks to reconnect and recompress while enjoying enjoy local art, performers, burning man inspired drinks and food.

All ticket proceeds went to Mary’s Place and Motley Zoo Animal Shelter ❤️

Collective Joy - Recompress and Reconnect - A unity event with art, food, music

A Burning Man - Halloween inspired event

This is a Unity Recompression and Reconnection event, intended to bring us all back together around the principles we have in common.

There will be music, artists, performers, and crafts throughout the Seattle Arboretum, embracing nature and the best of Seattle. This will be a rain or shine outdoor event, vaccines required, and Halloween + burning man inspired artisanal masks. Bring your best Playa and Halloween outfits!

Let’s create and enjoy art, food, and music together at this low-cost private and ticketed event with proceeds (donations will be strongly encouraged) going towards artists’ stipends and everything above that to Mary’s place and Motley Zoo animal shelter (yes, we hope to have puppies).
