We are back at Trivedi Wine (1826 E 1150 Road - 66049) tomorrow, Saturday evening starting at 5PM. The menu is mac’n cheese bowls with brisket, chicken, pulled pork, andouille sausage, or pork belly burnt ends. We’ll also have sandwiches and other sides as well. So come hang out, get some BBQ, listen to live music while enjoying some great wine.

We are probably the worst promoters of our catering business. Forgot to take pictures etc. We had a fantastic time at Trivedi Wine tonight serving guests. Great owners, great wine, great music, great people all around. We get to do it again next Saturday evening: Mac’n cheese boats, Cheesy tater tot casserole boats, with choice of protein toppings. That’ll be the main theme. More info to come.

We had the honor of serving our entire KU Football Program. 125 players that eat for 2-3 people plus 100 staff. Over 400 pieces of chicken, 60 pounds of leg of lamb, 30 pounds of pulled pork. Sides included baked beans, tons of mac’n cheese, rice, Mexican Street corn salad. Awesome young men and staff. Big thanks to Aline and Mak for so much help. We are ready for football. Rock Chalk!

When the KC Monarchs game is postponed but you’ve already committed to tailgating, Clinton Marina is a nice alternative. Meatballs, wings, lobster mac and cheese and more. They had a lot of fun.

Today we celebrated some staff at a local restaurant that we frequent knowing they had no family or plans for Christmas which they celebrate. It’s our honor to gift them all with a Christmas care package. Smoked pork loin, rack of lamb, our smoked mash potatoes, cheesy corn, and smoky mac’n cheese. To all the servers out there that take care of all of us, we see you and we appreciate you. May you be blessed.

A tradition in our cul-de-sac is to cook a holiday care package. Earlier in the week we presented neighbors with smoked center cut pork loin, jalapeño cheddar sausage, beef tri-tip, and salmon. Neighbors eat good in my neighborhood!
