I had a customer request a design similar to one I made earlier this summer, but one of the main focals was a big bright pink peony and those just aren't in season right now. Hettie to the rescue! This is my first time using this David Austin garden rose variety and I must say, I am happy with Hettie! Obviously, not a peony, but a beautiful substitute and they smell divine!
Out of office. On a life changing trip with some spectacular people in a truly magical place. Creating a new world within at Worlds End farm. Thank you for your patience. Will respond to emails and inquiries next week🤍
🤓 I thought for a second the plural for Lisianthus might be Lisianthi, but a quick search revealed it is actually Lisianthuses! Did you know that?
🔎Bought this variety from @bluehousefloralstampa a few months back. It's called Apricot Voyage and I think they're absolutely beautiful! I love the color and they're so ruffly.
🍃This is my first attempt at growing lisianthus. These guys didn't get very tall or grow multiple buds per plant, but another variety I grew (Excalibur Yellow) did. Anyone know if that is a variety thing or a me thing?
Definitely going to try again next year!
I get tons of requests for these types of flowers around spring time…some people call them baby daisies, feverfew, chamomile. Some people call them weeds!
These ones are actually called daisy fleabane and grow on the roadside or in grass, often at the base of oak trees. They are a member of the aster family, which has over 23,000 species!
Call them what you want, we love em! #staygold
