Adorning yourself in something fabulous to get married in is just one amazing part of the art piece that will be your wedding day. It is an opportunity to show up intentionally, artfully, and authentically.

That's why my couples get access to my Attire Guide as soon as things are official. It's about 50 pages of thoughtful tips and local places to shop, but here's the gist of my best advice:

More than how you look, choosing your wedding attire is about embracing who you are. Your taste, style, and natural beauty- reflected in fabric, color, and formality.

Consider that beauty against the backdrop of your celebration. It will root you in place and time, and serve as the common thread through all your photos & memories. It embraces the artistry of you and your story. It all emits a feeling you'll be able to recall for life.

Sometimes, couples wonder how much their voice is heard while working with a wedding planner. How will your style, flair, and priorities factor into the creative process? No one wants to get lost in a sea of checklists & to-do’s.

In my neck of the woods, your style, flair, and priorities are Phase I of planning.

There's no assembly line, generic list of to-do's, or "one size fits all" vendor recs. We get to know one another, dive deep into your story, and highlight what matters most in our initial meetings. We set intentions, nurture personal & professional relationships, and consciously create each aspect of your celebration.

I protect this part of my process by limiting the amount of weddings I take on each year, pouring all my heart and creativity into a select group of incredible clients who want to partner closely to create something heartfelt. We get to form a trusting relationship where you know someone's got your back & sees your story - inclusive of quirks and flair.

Sometimes, going off of vibes is the best way to make wedding planning decisions.

Let's take your guest count, for example. Here's how I like to think about it:

✨️ A larger wedding (100+ guests) is great for the big party and getting everyone together in one room. Celebrate together without worrying about exclusions. You'll need a larger budget, a stricter timeline, and more time to plan, for these "once in a lifetime" vibes.

The artistic process is broken into five distinct planning phases at Bespoke Socials, all designed to help you bask in the magic of little moments & genuine connection:

This is the ideation phase, where your vision is refined. This includes a realistic line-item budget, a thoughtful guest list, and a meaningful format with intentional choices. We cap it off with some venue tours to lock in the perfect place.

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐈
Now that you've got the place, we gather the most essential members of your team, according to your priorities. We also begin the design process, with a shared Pinterest, mood board, and color palette.

𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐈𝐈
We finalize your creative team and begin working with them. This is where the tastings, trials, and engagement photos happen. You'll also get to see a full Look Book and make detailed design choices.

Now that the big picture is in place and your team is finalized, we personalize and make it feel like you. This is where you're putting finishing touches on attire, finalizing music, and buttoning up all the details of your menu.

These summer camp vibes. 🏕

Brought to you by two down-to-Earth lovers bound together by one hell of a back story (and 5 combined kids to show for it). They wanted their celebration to feel light, cozy, and family-oriented- more like a party they just happened to get married at. We pulled it together with fire pits, live music, food stations, and string lights.

One of my all-time favorite details is how they greeted their guests as they arrived, then held a spontaneous-feeling sunset ceremony in the middle of festivities. As a bonus, we got to see the space dramatically transform from day to night, with that incredible in-between lighting in the middle highlighting their union.

There are so many benefits to an intimate wedding- including more quality time, attention to details, and a slower pace. Here a few tips that can help your wedding 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 intimate, no matter your guest count.

Q: Why elope? (wrong answers only)

A: You hate your family.

Real answer: Most elopers want to keep their celebration focused on the vows and private moments between the two of them. It's actually common to invite a handful of witnesses, and/or find other ways to celebrate with loved ones afterwards.

A: It's pretty much free.

Real answer: You'll save lots of money. Your average elopement will run about $7-15k, vs $30-50k for a wedding. Definitely not free, but hella accessible in comparison.

A: You're boring.

Real answer: It's a more relaxed yet adventurous experience. You'll have a smaller team with a looser timeline, and you won't feel like you're going through a big production the day of. You'll have more time for unique activities, quality time, and/or crossing things off your bucket list.

Of all the bad takes out there, eloping gets its fair share of bu****it. Truth is, eloping is just one incredible way to celebrate the hell out of your marriage, even if you're outgoing with big families and lots of money (but especially if you're not). You don't have to settle for less. You just need an adventurous spirit and a team who loves to celebrate small. 😘🥂

I LOVE what I do. So much I could shout it from the rooftops (except when it comes to the actual shouting part 😅). Can anyone else relate? I usually go somewhere between 24 and 48 hours before the guilt piles on for not repping my favorite small business enough. 😤 I have written and rewritten marketing plans a thousand times, but it still somehow ends up on the bottom of my ever-increasing to-do-list. What can I say? I'd rather be designing tablescapes, getting to know awesome vendors, and whipping up detailed timelines. The fact of the matter is, I am a damn good wedding planner. I'm getting the hang of being a business owner. Social media manager?
