Never would I imagined this day would come so soon… my true friend was laid to rest. I’m so grateful for all the love and support throughout these last few weeks. Thank you to everyone that called, text, stopped by, or prayed for me.
About 6 years ago around this same time I laid to rest one of my favorite people in the world my, Aunt Dorothy, and today I laid to rest another one of my favorite people, Kelman Edwards Jr. I hope she got to see her “chocolate” again!
The mixed feelings I have can’t be explained…he wasn’t afraid of this step in life. I know he is in a better place. I’ve never met anyone else on this planet that understood love in the manner he did.
I’m grateful for all the memories, laughs, and lessons we learned together. I pray that others get to have someone in their life that loves them unconditionally the way he did me!
