It was wonderful getting to meet Cain Leathers last night as he stopped in for something to eat before returning to his treck across Pennsylvania. Cain is running 370 miles to raise money for the Trevor Project, so I was delighted to hear he wanted to stop in at White Rose to fuel up.

Thank you to the Out & About team and the White Rose Bar and Grill for the amazing event on Sunday. And thank you to the community who showed up to the event to support the Rainbow Rose Center on the final weekend of Pride!

Biggest of shout outs to all who came and helped put this pride event together. Our hearts were so full seeing all the volunteers show up and transform White Rose in 3 hours. The event turned out far greater than we could have imagined!

The Rainbow Rose Center Q***r and Trans People of Color (QTPOC) is a peer-led emotional support group for q***r and trans-BIPOC in the York County area. We seek to provide a safe space for Q***r BIPOC folx to be able to discuss issues related to Q***r BIPOC folx without the worry of backlash or judgement. Therefore, we limit this space to Black, Indigenous, and/or People of Color who identify in the spectrum of the LGBTQ+ Community. This group meets on the second Sunday of every month at 2:00pm. We are currently only meeting virtually via Zoom during the pandemic.

Our goal is to protect the safety and confidentiality of everyone who participates in our meeting. Therefore, we are not posting meeting details on social media. Those who register will receive a notification from the Rainbow Rose Center with meeting details. If you have not previously attended one of our meetings, but you would like to do so, please fill out this form to get on our mailing list.
