My daughter and I went on a private tour of this amazing new venue yesterday and it was Amazing! Ellie said she was hungry and they literally cooked her lunch on the spot and even put on a movie for her to enjoy while we chatted. If you haven’t been there yet, stop what you’re doing and go check it out!! It truly feels like a private oasis and the venue owners make you feel like you’re part of the family the second you meet them. Thank you for our tour, we hope to be back soon!

On 4/20 at 4:20, I officiated my very first wedding ceremony! Rory and Kim are married! For those of you who know me really well, you know why this ceremony in particular was so very special to me.

I became an ordained minister so that in a “worst case scenario “ type of situation where the officiant can’t make it last minute to one of my weddings, I can step in as their officiant and legally sign their marriage license. Pretty cool, right?
Anyway, congratulations to the newlyweds!!

My favorite type of meetings are the ones that involve food and hilarious clients 🥰 I love that Lauren and Chris took me up on my suggestion and chose to cater their wedding—tonight’s tasting was flawless and the food was absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to hear all the guests rave about how good the food is at their wedding in April!

🥰Watching high school sweethearts become husband and wife was a truly beautiful sight. Their wedding was so awesome! Kourtney and her mom worked so incredibly hard on all the decorations prior to the wedding and it couldn’t have turned out any more perfect. So happy for the newlyweds !!

I love weddings, but I especially love when I am a guest! The fun part about being a guest is that you get to dress up, show up, and enjoy every single moment that the bride and groom have worked so hard for, without having to break a sweat yourself.

Being a planner, I have grown to have so much more appreciation for being “a guest” because let me tell you…SO MUCH work goes into planning your wedding day. It takes months to finely tune every little detail so that your day runs smoothly not just for you, the bride and groom, but for your guests as well. It all pays off in the end, though, when you’ve said “I do” and you can spend the rest of your night dancing away with the love of your life, while feeling all the love and support from your closest friends and family.

Cheers to Mr. & Mrs. Rich and the beautiful life I know you will share together, and thank you for the opportunity to be your guest!

One of my favorite parts of the planning process is finding the perfect venue. What better way to check out a venue than to go to an Open House event! I’m so happy Shelby and Matt let me tag along with them while checking out The Highland Manor— I thoroughly enjoyed the tour as well as meeting all of the other vendors.
