Our latest celebration was a beautiful affair with a ceremony and cocktail hour cruise on the Detroit River aboard the Diamond Belle! Following was a fabulous reception at Coriander Kitchen and Bar. Congratulations to Sophie and David, and thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!

This weekend we celebrated Michelle and James with a beautifully elegant ceremony and reception. We got to return to some of my absolute favorite venues and, as always, they did not disappoint! Seeing a bride walk the upper level of the UMMA Apse with her groom waiting below is such a special moment to witness.

Happy First Anniversary to one of our favorite couples, Jaqueline & Jamie!

Jacqueline surprised us today with this fun edit of one of their wedding photos, which captured us in our typical event-modes! Me, tightly clutching my binder, with my phone up, documenting as many moments as I can for social media, and Dave having a good time, but remaining on stand-by, ready for whatever task comes next.

If you didn't know, Dave recently broke his ankle (just in time for a string of 5 weddings in 6 weeks) and hasn't been able to work the last several weddings with me. We can't wait til he's back on his feet (pun intended)!

Yesterday we headed to the thumb coast to a gorgeous private residence to celebrate with A & P! The home has been in A's family for 100 years! It was such a fun evening complete with live music, a caricature artist, and a dessert spread made up of family favorites.

P&E had an absolutely gorgeous day for their outdoor, water front ceremony and barn reception! P & her girls designed and created all the decor herself, and it came out beautifully. 😍

Guests were TREATED (pun intended) to some delicious sweets throughout the night with a gorgeous display of cupcakes, a late night snack of cider & donuts, and individually packaged (by the bride) ingredients to make s'mores by the fire. 😋
