🏴‍☠️ Ahoy! 🏴‍☠️

The TJ crew will be helping out fer West Philly Porchfest on June 5! We're partnering with our mates at the Icebox to bring ye the best local lineup of the whole summer. We hope ye can make it!

We will not be hosting shows at the TJ house this summer, so this here be yer best chance yet to enjoy the music we love alongside us.

Howdy - Joe here from Traitor Joe's. Before you ask - no, the house is not dead. I'm the house's new mascot and they rescued me from certain doom (the trash). I do have a few things to say though, so here goes!

Firstly, let's get the bad stuff out of the way: we are canceling all scheduled shows for the foreseeable future. When the city comes out of lockdown and it feels safe to let people into our home again, we will do so with open arms.

That's really the only bad news and it's certainly not surprising, but secondly: we miss you. We miss supporting our scene and we miss meeting new people and watching the immense talent that comes into our home. We admire those of you who have put on online shows/participated in them. I know we've been a bit quiet but please let us know if we can help you in any way with livestreaming stuff.

Lastly, before we retreat back to our distancing, we hope you are staying indoors and staying healthy. This virus has devastated us but we won't let it stop us. Again, if you want our assistance with online shows or charities or hell, even just someone to talk to - message us. We know how tough this is for musicians and artists.

Take care of yourselves and each other and please thank your healthcare workers and support them however you're able. We will be doing the same.

We're sorry to announce that this weekend's show is cancelled due to coronavirus concerns. The bands have been notified and we are working to get a rescheduled date for late spring/summer.

Traitor Joe's takes health seriously and we want to take whatever measures possible to keep you safe. We hate to cancel, but we'd rather support people taking extra precautions given everything that's unfolded this week.

Our next show is scheduled for March 27. We'll keep you updated if we decide to cancel/reschedule. As of now, that show is still on.

I guess we should make our first status before the year ends? 🤔

We just want to thank y'all for inspiring us and pushing us to start this venue. This has been a dream of ours since moving into our happy home and we're so glad it happened.

We only had one show this year to "test the waters" as they say, but we have so much more planned for next year! We hope you join us on January 4th to kick the year off right. It's gonna be great.
