I was SO excited when Owen contacted me about gifting Kendra a family bluebonnet session this spring! The girls did fantastic, and Kendra picked the perfect spring-colored outfits. We lucked out and found a beautiful field of bluebonnets even though it was "late" in the season. I always love photographing this sweet family!

Wishing my parents a happy 39th wedding anniversary! They met at a wedding in Chicago where my dad was the best man and my mom worked for the groom’s father. They hit it off, she moved to Texas a few months later, and the rest is history!

I grew up with Allison up in the Chicago area (and my dad coached us in softball!), so when fate decided to put us not only on the same airplane but in seats next to each other in September, we spent the flight getting caught up. Allison and Joel were recently married, but were longing for romantic, fun photos to cherish. I flew out to San Diego, where the Navy couple lives, and we had a blast exploring the beautiful locations the city has to offer!

Beaver's Bend State Park in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, has been a special place throughout Brooke's entire life. When she met Nathaniel, it became a special place for both of them. The bridge on the Nature Trail was where this sweet couple got engaged, and knowing that this place means so much to them, it only made sense that we travel to Oklahoma to celebrate the next important step of their life - the birth of their first child, Elizabeth Marie. Brooke braved the heat and had no problem hiking to her favorite spots. I'm so glad they shared this amazing place with me, and I can't wait for Baby C to get here next month!

Wishing my parents a happy anniversary of the day that they met! They met 41 years ago tonight at a wedding in Chicago. My dad was the best man, and my mom worked for the groom’s father.

The stars aligned, and she moved down to Texas shortly after. For those who know me, who do you think I look more like? 🤨
