Madison Marsh has been a pilot since she was 16 years old and is now a second lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and only the fourth Miss Colorado to become Miss America. She is also the first active duty service member of the armed forces to win Miss America.

Twins!

My name is Lacy Reeves and I am the owner of Grand Gestures, LLC. The inspiration for this business actually started in the year 2000, right after my baby was born.

Stork rentals to announce new borns were popular and I thought, why limit the idea to birth announcements? My idea was to create whimsical cards for any occasion. They would also be so large they’d have to be set up outside.

Like a ninja, I could slip in after dark, set up the greeting while my baby slept in the car or was home with dad. The recipient would wake to find a memorable surprise and I would be a work-from-home mom, running a business.

Nothing came of my idea back then. I was a motivational speaker, loved what I did, and already had the flexibility needed to the kind of mom I dreamed of being.
