I recently got back into metal detecting and it has rekindled some great memories, especially from my time in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I used to explore the beach searching for relics, coins, and other treasures. One memorable day at Sunrise Beach, a woman approached me saying she had lost her gold watch the day before. Our first visit to Blue Moon Waterfront Grille was a pleasant surprise, especially considering we live nearby and didn't even know it was there! From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and seated us immediately, which was great since we were all hungry.

After placing our order, the food arrived incredibly fast, and it was clear that everything was prepared fresh. I ordered the catfish, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever had—and I’ve eaten a lot of catfish! Our picky daughter even enjoyed her meal, which is always a challenge.

The waterfront view made for a relaxing dining experience, and the music added a nice touch without being overwhelming. The outdoor seating gave us a beautiful view of the lake, adding to the overall ambiance. This spot has a charming "hidden gem" vibe, and we loved how it made us feel like we were far from the city, even though it’s right in our neighborhood.

If you enjoy seafood, especially catfish, Blue Moon is a must-visit. The atmosphere, the food, and the service make it a restaurant worth returning to!
