"One of the biggest goals for Steven and me on our wedding day was that we should be able to enjoy ourselves.
It sounds simple, right?
Well, talk to anyone who's been a bride or groom and listen to the stories of unending questions, frequent text messages, vendors not showing up on time, or any other wedding nightmare.
Pretty soon, hiring a professional to tie up all loose ends and confidently ensure our vision was brought to life wasn't a luxury - it was as necessary as the food.
No one would enjoy the event without it.
I wanted to avoid pouring a year's worth of planning and expenses down the drain and not have someone to help see it through to the finish line.
Hiring Amanda and her team with Enchanting Weddings and Events was one of the first wedding contracts I signed.
For my part, I was happy to do the planning and designing; in fact, I looked forward to it.
She joined the process as my day-of coordinator 90 days before our wedding day and answered all of my questions (at all hours of the day) leading up to our rehearsal. She ran the rehearsal experience in a very efficient and supportive manner such that everyone involved in the ceremony - man or woman, young or old - understood what they were supposed to do and when they were supposed to do it. On the wedding day, I was genuinely able to take it all in and fully experience my wedding as a participant and have conversations with my guests because I knew that Amanda was taking care of all the sequence of events and the little personal touches that were to take place throughout the day. In addition to that, I hired her extra services to help take down the decorations at the end of the night.
Money extremely well spent. The last thing I wanted to do was pack boxes at the end of my wedding day.
Amanda and her team handled everything. And from my perspective I cannot even tell you all the questions they answered, all the items they touched, all the running back-and-forth they may have done. I have no idea because I was able to enjoy the morning with my family, the experience of hair and makeup, and relax and laugh with everyone who joined me in the bride's room leading up to the ceremony. It was indeed the most significant day, and our pictures were even better than I had imagined. I can see all the little details I know Amanda and her team handled in them.

Natalie and Andrew

Natalie and Andrew met three years ago through their mutual friend, Karen. Karen had been trying to set them up for some time and finally got Natalie to join her for dinner. That evening, Karen arranged for the two to meet for drinks, and from that night on, they've been inseparable!

They got engaged in October. With the help of her sister and sister-in-law, Andrew set up a charming pumpkin and sunflower arrangement in the park for the occasion.

Natalie is mostly excited for the wedding day to finally arrive. While she is enjoying the wedding planning process, she can't wait to call Andrew her husband. She's also thrilled about wearing her wedding dress! Andrew, on the other hand, is simply excited about getting married. He's looking forward to having their own special day to celebrate their love.

We absolutely LOVE when a couple includes their fur babies in their wedding photos!

Emily and Matt

• How They Met: Emily and Matt met on Christian Mingle. Emily was drawn to Matt's shared interest in fitness and his hardworking nature. At the time, they were both working multiple jobs. They decided to meet in person for the first time at Starbucks.
• The Proposal: Matt planned the perfect proposal involving Emily’s baby nephew, Will, who is now their ring bearer. Knowing how much Will means to Emily, Matt arranged for Will to wear a onesie (with the help of Emily’s sister, Lizzy) that read, "Hey Auntie Em, How about making that Matt guy my uncle?" Under the pretense of "babysitting" Will, Emily noticed the onesie when she went to say hi to him. At that moment, Matt came running with the ring and got down on one knee. Lizzy and her husband, Billy, captured the entire proposal through photos, and they all celebrated with champagne afterward.
• Excitement for the Wedding: Emily and Matt are most excited about finally being married and celebrating with the ones they love.

Rachel and Sean

This couple met on the Hinge App, unknowingly beginning the rest of their lives!

On July 26th, 2023, Sean recreated one of their dates when they had their first kiss. On this date they got popsicles from Pete's pops food truck and she picked a PB&J popsicle. Sean questioned her decision, but in the end Rachel had the better popsicle. Sean was able to have Pete's pops come to 9 mile garden and bring the PB&J popsicle (that they don't make anymore due to allergies) for their engagement. He bought them both PB&J popsicles and brought her to the center of their green space outside. Sean starts referencing this date they had while he was walking her out to the middle of 9 mile garden's green space. Then he told her to turn around!! Rachel was in shock because she thought he was proposing, but there was a message on the screen behind her saying "Rachel will you marry me? Paw-lease!? -Casper, Scarlet, and Petey". Then she turned around to Sean on his knee asking her to marry him.

They are most excited to see their 3 dogs walk down the aisle on their wedding day.

• How They Met: Danielle and Brett were introduced through a mutual friend.
• The Proposal: They got engaged on October 21st, 2022, in Sumner, MO. Brett, a proud owner of a 1983 square body Chevy, wanted to take it out for some "photos." He snapped a picture of the truck and then asked Danielle to take a photo with it. When they walked up to the truck, he asked her to get on the hood. As she turned around to sit down, she found him on one knee, ready to propose.
• Danielle's Excitement: Danielle is most excited to exchange their private letters and to see Brett’s face as she walks down the aisle.
• Brett's Excitement: Brett is most excited to see his bride in her dress, to enjoy a day focused solely on their love, to share their first dance, and to be united as one without worrying about the guest list.

Maddi and Keegan's Love Story: From Middle School Track to Forever

Their love story began on the track field during middle school, where fate brought Maddi and Keegan together after Keegan's family moved to Maddi's hometown. Little did they know, Keegan's mom, also Maddi's track coach, played a pivotal role in their love story.
Throughout high school, Keegan was determined to catch Maddi's attention, and he spared no effort in trying to win her heart. Despite Maddi's initial hesitation, Keegan's persistence paid off, and they finally started dating the summer before their senior year.
Their love continued to blossom as they navigated through college together, supporting each other through every hurdle and triumph. And as Maddi's senior year of college approached, Keegan knew it was the perfect time to take their relationship to the next level.
They got engaged in the woods! Keegan asked Maddi to go help with farm chores, and so she went with him to help put corn out for the food plot, change deer cameras, etc. Keegan asked Maddi to pour a bag of corn out, and when she turned around, Keegan was proposing! (This is exactly what she wanted - just a moment for the two of them. And the deer cameras caught the whole thing).
Now, as they look forward to celebrating their love with family and friends, Maddi and Keegan are excited to start their life together as husband and wife. Their beloved dog holds a special place in their hearts, and they can't wait to come home to her and each other at the end of each day.
