In kitchens like most work places we all have that ”soulmate” your other half, the work spouse I am pretty lucky to have spent so much time with this young man. We still chat as much as time allows, call for support, text to just check in, discuss family, bounce ideas off one another, my wife always said he was my “mistress”. Well this one’s mine Chef Kevin Bell so much talent, we are fortunate to have him in our life! Much love buddy!

We always post our work at the administration portion of our little business but we also serve the plant that produces life saving equipment that ships world wide! Omar whom my family has had in it life for over 24 years! His career has been one of hard work and preparing food in some of Madison’s finest kitchens we are lucky to have him with us! Nelley who keeps us organized and the lines moving, and our latest Valerie the champion of all FOH and keeping us on our toes!

You see pit built by Leland, our little flagship Heritage smoker Bob was hand crafted by Leland built back in 1976 from oil rig pipe that he hand cut, and fabricated by his own hands, Leland and Bob had been competing, awarded, trophied through out Texas, Bob has a flavor that anyone will tell you is untouchable, here’s to heritage, something’s are just worth keeping alive. Thanks Leland we miss or greet neighbors and friends!

We finish today with some heritage of who we are! Team Hawgwater OG! (Even brian!) shots of famous peoples we where honored to have taken care of before their passing and some still around, people that help mold, take care of and helped us survive in our youth with values and hard work, friends for life, in our many miles traveled. Here’s to butchers, 50’ refer trailers, box trucks, golf cart cruising, board crossing, country hopping, rockstars, festival jumping, “tents are for cooking”, ”we are cooking where….in a alley around the block, 2 elevators down, military style platted meal, up all night making biscuits for 400 just to prove a point, no corners cutting bunch of humans we continue to see grow! And some great gifts along the way!
