YES, "The BOZEUM" will be featured on the “Around Town” segments from 7 Am to 9 Am Tuesday morning August 13, 2024!!!!

PLEASE TUNE IN to see the fun AND a very unique and rare vintage one of a kind Bozo piece that has NOT been seen in over 60 years will debut on the show!!!

Lol, even the Morning News crew does not know of this surprise!!!

So, I was messaged on FB about the items I am selling on various FB pages as well as FB Market Place,... Number on question was why?
Well, there are many reasons,...
1). It is time for another to enjoy these fun items, to add to their collections OR their shows,...
2). I need the space,... :)
3). Sometimes we take on a project,... and many of my projects are long range, as it may take a few years to collect needed materials,... Then sometimes we change our direction on the project and do not see it as important as we once had.
4). The bigger project, to create something that has never been,... A ONE OF A KIND destination,... :) I desire to get "The BOZEUM" into it's new location and there are fees and costs,...
With No donations as of yet, (offers to help have come in), yet, the costs and fees of moving, paint and decor, rents, utilities,.... Oh my.
5). I know there are other reasons,... :)

Friends and Fans,

I desire to tell you,…
I have enjoyed collecting, researching and documenting Bozo’s history.
Every single item has a story all of it’s own.
From a simple article, photo, story,…
On their own, one might not think they matter,…
Yet, when saved together they do.
Because if they are not saved (in a few places) the information, the photos, the articles, the stories,… That one single item,...
ARE LOST.
Once they are lost, they are gone, gone, gone,…

That is why I spent the years I did working on “The Bozo Chronicles” and self published this look at Bozo’s history (in 2010), and original years at Capitol Records 1946 to 1956.
And again in 2020 with “Being Bozo” David Eaton’s autobiography about his time as Bozo actor on TV in Dayton Ohio in the late 1960’s.

I desire to encourage Bozo’s fans and friends to share any and all of their personal photos with Bozo, Bozo articles, Bozo memento's so they are saved and documented in the research files for “The BOZEUM.” Even if it is just one item, photo or story,…
What good do they serve history in a photo album, scrapbook, or box??
When you help and share you are really helping to save history and you too become apart of the bigger picture.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I post this.
Mary Lu Brown the wife of my late mentor Roy "Cooky" Brown passed away on June 30th. Mary Lu was 88 years old.
I was honored to have learned and to have been mentored by Roy. He and Marshall "Wizzo" Brodien were like uncles to me. Taught me worked with me and gave me my break info show biz.
When Roy had decided to ask Mary Lu to marry him, I was asked by Roy to present the engagement ring to Mary Lu, I was visiting (as I always did with Roy) yet was in full Santa make up. :)
When Roy and Mary Lu were married, a figure of "Cooky" that I had created was on top of their wedding cake.

I will always fondly remember talking with Mary Lu,.. Yet, like in life, her health changed and the last I knew she was at a care facility for rehab, her back was always giving her trouble,....
Recently, I had talked with the director of the facility Mary Lu had been at,... I was told she moved to a different facility and because of rules I could not be told more. The letters I had written to her all came back as un-deliverable and no forwarding address. :(

Mary Lu was 88 years young had a love for Roy that was amazing. She was always kind to me and I will fondly remember the wonderful dinners at her home in Bloomingdale, Il.
God speed Mary Lu, thank you for being so very kind to me.

Hi fans :),
there are a few Wizzo projects in the works to help fund a bigger project (Doody, Doody, Doo).you may have seen a number of posts featuring some fun artwork by various artists,...
That's just the beginning.
Now we are not expecting everyone's favorite Wacky Wizard WIZZO to be as big as Coke-a-Cola we just want to have fun, create some fun items for fans, do some fun shows, make some fun appearances all to help raise funds for Alzheimer's Awareness.

THANK YOU for being fans and friends and helping US to keep the legacy of Magic that Marshall Brodien created years ago to continue to inspire.
