Seasonal Laborer

Salary Offered: Starting at $12 Hourly
Must be 15 or older.
Candidates 18 and older must pass a drug test.

Job Description:
Seasonal position in a busy fast paced rental store rental store renting many types of equipment, tents, tables and chairs.
Position with hours available until mid to late October.
Overtime is paid after 40 hours a week.
Hours vary, but typically are 25-40 per week depending upon how busy it is.

Duties Include:
Installing and removing tents at customer job sites. Loading and unloading equipment for customers at our shop and at customer job sites.
Cleaning, inspecting and maintaining all types of Rental Equipment.
Explaining and demonstrating operation of rental equipment to Customers.
Operating a forklift and driving/loading heavier equipment if over the age of 18. (ie. bobcats and tractors).
Performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner.

-Must pass DOT health exam.

-Must pass a drug test and remain drug-free during employment.

-Need to be able to lift at least 70 pounds.

-Must possess a full range of motion and dexterity.

-Must be available to work every other weekend.

Preferred Skills:

-Experience driving trucks with trailers.

-Experience operating equipment and forklifts.

-Friendly personable attitude.

-Mechanical skills and experience repairing small engines is a plus.

Job Description:

Looking for someone responsible and outgoing to fill an open position in a busy fast-paced rental store renting many types of equipment, tents, tables and chairs. Hours vary, but typically are 35 - 45 per week FULL-TIME YEAR-ROUND POSITION

Job Duties:

Driving and Delivering Equipment (bobcats, tractors, tables and chairs) on trailers with loads exceeding 10,000 #.

Loading and Unloading Equipment for Customers at our Shop.

Operating a Forklift.

Cleaning, Inspecting, and Maintaining all types of rental equipment.

Explaining and demonstrating the operation of rental equipment to customers.

Assisting customers and ringing them up using a computer-operated Point of Sale system.

Installing and Removing tents at customer job sites.

Performing all job duties in a safe and professional manner.

Supervision of other employees aiding you in installing and removing tents, or delivering and picking up items.

Possible occasional use of computer for obtaining orders and ringing up customers.

Training on equipment operation, tent installation and computer use will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Required license or certification:

Valid Class D license (No CDL required)
