- We continue to follow the changing restrictions and protocols.

We look forward to seeing you with your mask on!

Meet our new owners!

Harvin and Indu Kumar decided to purchase the company as an investment in their children’s future. Both from India, they came to the U.S. with barely a penny to their name and through hard work they have achieved success and are a true example of the “American Dream”. Both now U.S. Citizens, they enter this venture as business partners, with Indu being the majority stock owner, maintaining Aristocat’s status as a woman-owned business.

Flying into Detroit for the holidays? Your friends and family can now greet you at the gate! The airport allows 75 “gate passes” per day for non-ticketed visitors. This system already exists at the Pittsburgh, Seattle Tacoma and Tampa airports.

Heads up! You may experience travel delays this Thanksgiving due to winter watches, warnings and advisories. Also, air travel is up almost 4% this holiday. No wonder flights were so expensive.

A record 31.6 million passengers will travel on US airlines during the Thanksgiving holiday period, according to an industry forecast. While airports will be busy, the bulk of American travelers will still be going by car.

Here’s a great read about corporate travel managers. In order to make executive travel an investment rather than a cost, “Travel managers have to become experts in the business of travel and then match that business to the organization's strategy.”

The role directly impacts the business's bottom line and is a lot more than just coordinating pickups and drop offs. We agree!

Business travel is filled with hassles and stress, whether it be airport security lines, long flights, or time away from family and friends. Meanwhile, Bleisure might actually be key to preventing travelers from burning out, and employers play a pivotal role in promoting this

Meet The Owners

In October 2019 we introduced Aristocat Transportation's new owners: Harvin and Indu Kumar. Harvin, also known as "Happy", began working for Aristocat three years ago as a chauffeur. During his time at the company he saw an incredible team and infrastructure, and when the previous owner expressed the desire to retire he saw it as a great opportunity to step into the leadership role. In the past 30+ years Aristocat has grown to become one of the most respected and trusted companies in Michigan, and moving forward you can continue to expect the same level of exceptional service - now with a new owner behind the wheel.

Past Rewards: In 2014 we were recognized by Corp Magazine as one of Michigan's Economic Bright Spots. In 2006 Aristocat was voted as one of the top 3 transportation companies in the US by the National Limousine Association. In 2005, our head chauffeur Richard Anderson was among the Top 3 Finalist to receive the Detroit Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau "Rose Award" for recognition of service excellence in Metro Detroit. In 2003 Aristocat Transportation was proud to be awarded the coveted "Rose Award" by the Detroit Metropolitan Convention Bureau. In 1995 Aristocat won the "Best Transportation provider of the year" award given by Metro Times magazine. In 1992, Aristocat expanded by acquiring the assets of Peerless Executive Limousine Service, and again in 1995 by acquiring the assets of Exotic Transportation.
