Hello Nashville/Southeast!
It’s been awhile since we’ve done an introduction and so much has changed for us that we thought we’d say hello and reintroduce ourselves! We are Cori & Tex, owners of Cori Cook Floral Design, a husband-and-wife-run fine art floral design company! Five fun facts:
1. We moved to the Nashville area in 2021. We now do weddings in Tennessee, the Southeast, Colorado, and travel for the right weddings.
2. Although Tex has been a part of Cori Cook Floral Design since its conception in 2008, he only recently joined the ranks and is killing it with all the behind the scenes work that goes into a small business. He also plays a key role in planning and designing large installation mechanics.
3. We have three amazing kids and it is our JOY to raise them. You can see them on our stories today!
4. Our style is timeless, thoughtful, and curated, but never stuffy. We want our work to usher in the feeling of togetherness, community, and celebration. While we stay up on trends, we don’t let them dictate our work. We want each wedding to reflect the uniqueness of the client we are working with.
5. Design Tip: Experiment with using several types of linens that coordinate but don’t match. This adds so much dimension to your overall design! For example, a floral, a solid, and a coordinating linen with a textural design. Trust me on this 😊
