Hello Nashville/Southeast!
It’s been awhile since we’ve done an introduction and so much has changed for us that we thought we’d say hello and reintroduce ourselves! We are Cori & Tex, owners of Cori Cook Floral Design, a husband-and-wife-run fine art floral design company! Five fun facts:
1. We moved to the Nashville area in 2021. We now do weddings in Tennessee, the Southeast, Colorado, and travel for the right weddings.
2. Although Tex has been a part of Cori Cook Floral Design since its conception in 2008, he only recently joined the ranks and is killing it with all the behind the scenes work that goes into a small business. He also plays a key role in planning and designing large installation mechanics.
3. We have three amazing kids and it is our JOY to raise them. You can see them on our stories today!
4. Our style is timeless, thoughtful, and curated, but never stuffy. We want our work to usher in the feeling of togetherness, community, and celebration. While we stay up on trends, we don’t let them dictate our work. We want each wedding to reflect the uniqueness of the client we are working with.
5. Design Tip: Experiment with using several types of linens that coordinate but don’t match. This adds so much dimension to your overall design! For example, a floral, a solid, and a coordinating linen with a textural design. Trust me on this 😊

All clients are unique! At Cori Cook Floral Design, we are all about creating unique experiences for our clients, weddings that reflect their individual personalities and stories. Ali was a dream client and gave us free reign for this ceremony piece. Because of her trust in us, we made a last minute pivot to abandon our plan and use what nature was providing instead, knowing we could fulfill her hearts wishes to not distract from the nature beauty of the setting in an even better way than we had planned. So many have asked us, “What is this flower?!?!” Truth is we don’t know its name. But we will always cherish it, just like we cherish Ali and this perfect design moment ❤️

Jumping in on the eclipse buzz, we had to share a recent destination wedding, where we balanced the grandeur of a dramatic 94-yard-long wine cellar with the flicker of candlelight, breathtaking tableware, and delicate florals. Our journey led us to the stunning Brush Creek Ranch, nestled on an expansive 30,000-acre landscape in Wyoming. It was stunning! Designing amidst Wyoming’s beauty was a true delight. Here's a nod to today's eclipse event with a magical wedding experience at Brush Creek Ranch.

How we love a sailcloth tent wedding! It makes any outdoor space feel instantly luxurious but also has an intimate, personal feel. I love the way thoughtful florals and taper candles make it feel like an inviting, upscale dinner party any guest would feel honored to attend!

One of my all time favorite brides (I love you, Ali!) asked for a unique ceremony installation that didn’t distract from the gorgeous mountain view and assured me that whatever I came up with she trusted me. I loved how it turned out and she did too!

Love this sequence of this groom - Truly warms my heart every time I see these photos to see him weep with joy at his bride!
*and in another note - would you know that this ceremony piece was hailed on for about 15 minutes during its assembly? These are the things that are out of your control for an outdoor ceremony. But hiring experienced wedding professionals who can handle circumstances like these makes all the difference in the world.

I love how this ceremony concept turned out. We planned to do a semi circle of floral around the bride and groom so as to create a focal point but not distract from that gorgeous Mountain View … I love how it turned out in it’s lushness and subtlety …
