Hey everyone, Josh (he/him) here, the proud 🏳️🌈 owner of Wedley Weddings. I’m honored to recognize the beginning of Pride Month—a time for celebration, reflection, and solidarity.
The path to equality has been marked by struggle, resistance, and incredible bravery. Those who came before us fought tirelessly for the rights and recognition we cherish today. It’s a reminder of the power of unity and the enduring spirit of our community.
Despite progress, we know our rights and protections aren’t guaranteed. This is why community and ally ship are so crucial. Every single LGBTQI+ individual, as well as our steadfast allies, plays an essential role in this ongoing journey toward full equality.
To everyone under the LGBTQI+ umbrella—know that your love is beautiful, your identity is valid, and your spirit is resilient. Let’s create new memories this Pride Month, while never forgetting those who walked before us, paving the way so we could walk—and sashay—with PRIDE!
