Where the Road Takes Us
Hello There, My name is Rainy, born and raised in Riverside, California. Most of my youth was spent running barefoot with my 2 sisters and the rabbits in Gavilan Hills. Our Nature Loving Father provided us with 15 acres of gardens and groves. We were surrounded with an abundance of red geranium and many colors of my all time favorite Bearded Iris... I would gather blooms and make arrangements for all the flat log post that lined our front yard... every mud pie couldn't be finished without flowers... I would sit for hours and watch the bees move from bloom to bloom as the flowers and weeds swayed in the wind. I can always remember having this love of flowers, a gift of life in every unique petal. I have always lived in the flower world with special details towards weddings. Over the last 20 years I have lost count of all the beauties I have created, working for Name Brand Franchised Shops, to the wonderful family ran Mom & Pop shop, where we were honored as Inland Empires Best Florist of 2002 and Inland Empires Best Wedding Florist of 2018. My designs have been published 3 times in 2018. I have attended as a vendor at many bridal shows, I have participated in a few style shoots along with providing all I can for family, friends and the community, while not forgetting to freelancing every chance I get. I love to learn from other designers, tips of the trade should always be sought after. I love to research the wedding world… “Hello May” is my favorite…. taking trainings every chance I get to stay up with trends and I am so inspired by so many talented florist. ... And since May 19th of this year… yes the Royal wedding… makes my heart skip a beat with all that fairytale happiness. Philippa Craddock’s work was spectacular, along with providing sustainable, locally sourced and foam free work… just breathtaking… that dreamy vision has started a new page to this journey of mine. Goals for the feature are to provide seasonal locally grown organic florals while keeping the environment as first priority. I have a vision to provide the best blossoms nature can provide. I pride myself on my experience and the ability to talk flowers with anyone. I love the thrill of incorporating your personal touches, if I haven't done it before even better, I never take for granted that I have the ability to find the way to bring your vision to life.
