You know I love staying at The Mohicans Grand Barn Wedding Center. They’re hosting a Bridal Show on Sunday, October 1st where you can tour the grounds, take a peek in select treehouses and one of the large rustic cabins, and meet their preferred vendors.

I was inspired by a strong, independent, beautiful single mother of 2 twin toddler boys. She wanted something for herself, to honor herself, to treat herself. As I was making this box I was thinking about how great it would be for her to crack open a great glass of champagne and have some wonderful cheese after the chaos of life settled. In my mind I even dimmed the lights, lit a candle and took a deep breath. I stress this to my clients but it’s not the box itself for me that does it, but imagining the times that surround it. I introduce to you The me myself and I box.

This elaborate charcuterie was one client's vision for her mother's calling hours and it was such a unique and lovely experience! In the client's own words, "I wanted my last act of devotion and love for my mom to be special, and they [Snyder's] made that happen."

This pretty little rose is just a small example of progress. It’s funny how I never considered myself to be a artist hell, I still don’t but sometimes I surprise myself. I had no idea what I was getting into but I love the direction that I’m going. I really believe the true key to success comes with the ability to change. If your not changing your only sitting still. Be ok with change and always stay on your toes.

Last night was a dream! I have been asked to do many classes and I’m so glad I said yes to this one. I had the honor to entertain the best group of ladies! They have the best friendship, they were warm, sarcastic, kind and most of all so very caring for one another. Grazing brings everyone together and this is why Modern Grazers came to life. The stories shared over the food is what I signed up for.

With our power still out it’s definitely not what we had planned leading up to this amazing event. When you power through tough times it makes for an even better ending. These vendors put in countless hours of work and during this time I know it’s even harder. If you can make it please come out and support some of these amazing vendors. It is never too early to shop local for Christmas go ahead get a head start you will be so glad you did! I can’t wait for a weekend of fun. The Hub at Village Square
