It’s bouquet cutting season! There may be a larger water bill but so far we have blooms aplenty.

A decision is to be made soon which Farmers Market to attend, either Abingdon or Marion. Give us feedback about who wants to buy bouquets this season.

Hard to believe it took until the middle of September to get some decent variety of dahlia blooms in the bouquets. The Kelvin floodlight (yellow) and orange enjoyed a prolonged hide and seek game, but finally announced their presence!

This is what happens when you don’t divide dahlias at least every other year. This one’s four or five seasons worth of growth. Could make multiple tubers off of it.

Good morning Alpine Acres Flower Farm fans! We are excited to announce the first red, yellow, white and second orange dahlias to bloom this season! The fuchsia/wine color is still going strong with multiple plants blooming as well as the red and orange combination. Send me a message if you would like a bouquet.
