Another meal - very tasty! My ravioli were not green and white like the ones in the picture. But it tasted very good. I’m learning a lot! This meal reminded me of some things that Smitty used to tell me… You need different textures when you’re cooking… And use multiple colors in the meal. It should look good, as well as taste good! I think he would approve. 😊

Cooking Success… I had a leftover hambone from Easter. So I put it in the crockpot and added about half of cabbage, sliced thin, and two onions, also sliced thin. I put in a teaspoon of minced garlic. And let it cook for about three or four hours on high. I stirred it a few times as the cabbage and onions cooked down. I put some Lowery seasoning salt in it about halfway through just to make sure it had some seasoning. Today I reheated it stirred it around to make sure that the ham had pulled away from the bone. Then I cooked up some mashed potatoes and scooped the cabbage onion, ham mixture on top of the mashed potatoes. It is delicious!!
