YAY for Joyful Events first 2023 wedding!!
If you have been following us for a bit, you know that I am pregnant with my first and quite literally due today 😅 So when sweet Raelynn sent me a message needing a Day-Of Coordinator Package for her wedding April 21st, knowing I would not be physically capable to do it myself, I had to find another way.
Everyone meet Macie!!
Macie has been a friend of my husband and I for several years now through a church group and she was our Day-Of Coordinator! I knew if I couldn’t be there myself, I could trust Macie to do it with her experience with another wedding planning company and remembering how smoothly my own day went with her!
This is my first Joyful Event wedding done without me running it and working with Macie and Raelynn has been a wonderful learning experience! We pray that Joyful Events continues to grow and have more than 1 coordinator to keep up with the weddings!
My husband and I tell everyone that truly one of the best things we did for ours was hiring Macie to handle everything the week leading up to the wedding and getting to be fully present and relaxed the day of our wedding! Let us take the weight off your shoulders so you can truly enjoy one of the most joyous days of your life ☺️🤍

One of my favorite parts about this job is getting to know the couple. Morgan and Jackson know how to have FUN together that was so clearly present in their day!
We are continuing to cover y’all in prayer as you continue your years in marriage!
Joyful Events still has so many summer and fall dates available! We are currently updating the contracts and prices, but plan on having those done soon and available on the website! We would love to be apart of one of the most special days of your life ☺️

Finally… THE RESULTS!!
I loved the theme and felt it was well displayed with the decor we purchased from the inspiration board! The colors really complimented the theme and the space really well! It wouldn’t have come all together if it wasn’t for the help of my wonderful family and friends. I put together one table, and they knew what to do from there!
I know I mentioned this in the inspiration board, but I really can’t stress enough how thankful I am that everyone was able to bring in some finger foods to help everyone snack on something and it wasn’t crazy expensive! And my sister in law made my cake and cookie dream come true, I mean look at them!! 😍
All in all, it was such a fun and beautiful shower honoring our girl! We got so many compliments on how cute everything looked! It was overwhelming how loved our girl is and she’s not even here yet 🥹

2023 has been BUSY!
I know some of y’all may think I’m crazy… but I helped my sister and best friend design and plan my own baby shower!
I love the wedding business of course and want to keep growing there, but I would love to explore showers/parties as well!
There was definitely a lot I learned from just my own!

It’s been a minute! I have had some new followers so I wanted to do another introduction post 😊
My name is McKenna Haygarth, founder of Joyful Events! I created Joyful Events with this mission statement: To give the opportunity to be fully present in life’s most joyous moments.
I believe in those words with my whole heart! Your wedding day is the second most important day of your life, with your first creating a relationship with Jesus! It truly fills my cup to see a newly married couple laughing with their friends and family, dancing the night away celebrating their marriage!
I have a fun fact about me that’s not in my bio on the website! Fact is: I had a dream to perform on Broadway and got a Bachelors degree in Music, emphasis in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Oklahoma! I graduated in 2020 and everything got flipped upside down! Plans changed, and I know this is God’s plan for my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for where I am. I know this is exactly where God wants me to be ☺️
I also have to include my sweet husband because none of this would be possible without his endless support ❤️
