Many folks ask me about economical party options and truthfully that isn't my expertise so many times I don't bring a lot of affordable options to the conversation. However, I found a little gem in the East Valley of Phoenix (City of Chandler) and put together a Christmas Casino party for my husband's company this past holiday. It's a perfect spot for any small gathering! A total blank palate in the heart of downtown Chandler. https://chandlerpops.com/

Our team had a great time and we had about 25 people in attendance and it was a perfect size.

Think family gatherings, baby showers, catered dinners, etc! It was fantastic and the owner was so easy to work with as it was truly a turn-key experience.

You have that one funny intelligent friend that would kill it being your Officant. Do it! but make sure they research the duties, responsibilities and are good with public speaking. Many of our clients opt for someone close to them to stand in this role and I freaking love it.

As a wedding planner, I personally have been asked to be an officiant for my clients. It is a perk of being ordained myself and I am forever connected to the couple for that experience. If you swipe you’ll see the face of one of my grooms reacting to their officiant.

It’s moments like this which make it a long lasting memory. Isn’t that what life is all about?

You invest tens of thousands of dollars (sometimes more) into one day. You create a memory for not only the two of you but for all of your guests to remember forever. It’s a lot of work and it can be stressful but when it all comes together seamlessly it’s so worth it. I love this moment because essentially this was the start of their wedding day and you can see in their faces they are authentically excited for what’s to come….as they should be.

Guests walked in and hit the dance floor....ALL NIGHT! That's because we had a badass band with incredible vocals. Talk about energy....don't choose the wrong group of musicians. It's key and truthfully if the entertainment isn't on point then nothing matters. As a designer, I will probably be hung for saying this but we have all been to bars that are ugly and smelly but the band was rad and we had the best time. Make sure to invest in a band that not only brings talent but is professional on and off the stage. It matters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Brian had friends fly in from Sweden for this party so being the great guy he is he insisted the pastry chef at the Omni Montelucia put together a Norwegian Kransekake. This is typically for a wedding where the couple pulls off the top rings with their hands in a customary Scandinavian ring-breaking ceremony; the number of layers still attached predicts how many kids they'll have. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However many kids it was delicious and appreciated. It's that kind of detail that makes it a real-life event. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Life Design Events Will Be Ready When You Are

We know how overwhelmed life is right now and the absence of routine is probably throwing your days out of whack. We completely understand! We also know that your parties, social gatherings, weddings, corporate events, etc have either been canceled or postponed which is such a bummer to all involved. Our hospitality industry has taken a major hit but we aren't closing down nor are we giving up. We know that we will get back to celebrating soon and in the meantime, we are drinking champs and ready to start planning when you are.
