Did you know that the most common event to cause a delay in your wedding day timeline is getting ready? These mornings with mimosas and glamour can be full of very special moments, but how can we prevent the first event of the day from throwing everything else off?
•Schedule a hair and make up trial before your event! Your trial is a great way to practice your full look prior to the day of, but it is also a great reference for how long your style will take. Use this info to schedule your timeline accordingly! (Bonus tip - schedule your trial on the same day as your bridal portraits or shower so that full glam doesn’t go to waste)
•Ask your wedding party for inspiration pics! When your hair and make up artist is doing your wedding parties looks, ask them to send pictures of what they want so that your stylist can prepare. There is a huge timing difference between a “curled and down” style and a “up do” style
•Plan for extra time! It’s not everyday that we go full glam (unless your Elle Woods) so things may take longer than you think. Dresses might need to be steamed, nails touched up, and lipstick reapplied. Give yourself an extra 30min/1hr buffer
