Being a business owner is tough! I am truly humbled by the experience. I am exhausted, but my heart is so full 🤍 I am so proud of myself — aside from being in the Army and being a single parent I managed to pull through and bring all of me into my craft. I am reaching for what my heart desires most; being happy with what I do is so important to me! I am grateful for this opportunity.

Welcome the newest member of the family business: The Guendulain Telephone Booth 🤍

A little background story on her..
My great friend had ask me to provide a photo op for her baby shower. I was excited to do just that. Little did I know I would have to haul a phone booth dressed as a “Bridgerton character” as that was the theme.
As I brainstormed ideas with another great friend, she brought up this lovely piece of work (that’s where her name came from). I could not take my mind off of it and soon after planning began. When I want something I put the work in to get it.
I had limited time and limited resources, but this was a no fail mission. Thanks to a great recommendation I found a woodworker just in time.
Rain was popular this past week which slowed down construction. Semi finishing touches were done the day of the event. She wasn’t complete, but she was worth the display.
I had no way of transporting her, but I found a way. Complications with transportation rose the morning of, putting me behind as well. I was behind by two hours, but I kept pushing towards my goal.
The person that was supposed to help me load and unload bailed, I had no idea how I was going to get her in position, but I got her there and thanks to the help of my friend’s husband and his friend they positioned her.
I applied finishing touches at the event.
I was troubled the whole morning, but she was worth it!
I say all this to say, no matter the many obstacles you run into, don’t lose focus on your ultimate goal. 🤍

There are people that are great when trying new things, there are people that need practice and after so long become masters of their work, and there are people that just can’t get it right. The point is, you’ll never know unless you try! I love to learn. I love to perfect my craft. I will continue to perfect what I love to do!
