Events & More Borrow Details
We are excited to be a part of your event. These items are from our personal party collections that we SHARE with our friends (and now their friends) and enjoy doing it. WE LOAN THESE ITEMS TO FRIENDS. If you are borrowing then it’s because you too have become a part of our friend network. Our inventory we acquired for events/parties and other decor has been donated. There is no deposit or charge for using the items, “payment” is you sharing photos with us of how you used the items. Because this has evolved into an almost every weekend thing (sometimes many events in one weekend), we ask for your help in keeping it streamlined.

Events and More Ministry
It’s easiest to go to the photos and browse each album. Pick items you’d like to borrow, SNAP PHOTOS OF THOSE ITEMS & BRING THOSE WITH YOU when you come to see us or SEND WHEN WE TEXT.
**DO NOT COMMENT ON PHOTOS FOR RESERVING OR QUESTIONS**
We DO NOT monitor the comments on the page. Instead, screen shot the photo & text us your question.
Keep in mind that we don’t have photos of everything on there yet but it’s a good idea of what’s available. I’d you don’t see something you need, please ask, we may have it.
Pick-up/Drop-off
Since most events are on the weekends we have set days for pick-up/drop-off a few days before and the few days after your event. This allows us time to get it ready for the next person. Our inventory stays separate so if you are borrowing items from both of us you’ll need to do pickup/drop off at the house you borrowed the item(s) from.
* Text us to set up your pick up times a few days before the event.
•Drop-offs will be Monday or Tuesday unless special arrangements are made. Kathleen is fine with Sunday drop offs but Marla IS NOT.
* BRING A VEHICLE(S) THAT CAN ACCOMMODATE YOUR ITEMS!
******Please return everything in as good or better condition than when you picked it up and
IN THE SAME BOXES AND CONTAINERS.******* THIS IS IMPORTANT!!
We store things in specific places depending on the size of of the containers.
Have whoever is returning (maybe even send them this) CHECK ALL ITEMS! Ask them to clean them before they come back.
Linens
Return folded nicely, please!
Return them laundered and with as few wrinkles as possible for the next person. We suggest spot treating , washing and then not drying them fully but laying them out to finish drying. That way there is less wrinkles. And DO NOT put them away damp!!!! They mold!!
Votives/Candle holders
Clean of any wax and ready to be borrowed for another event.
Serving Pieces
Fully cleaned and ready to be borrowed again.
Florals
Please do not alter them by pulling them apart and creating a new piece. Keep in mind- someone else may have them checked-out after you and are counting on them to be just as they were when they left for your event. Let your set-up volunteers know the florals are to stay the same way as they come.
Additions & Deletions
**SUPER IMPORTANT** If you have reserved items and decide not to use some of them, please let us know ASAP. Another event may want it and we can let them to know it’s available. We ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or add anything.
Double Check
We try to check things to make sure they are clean and all items are there when they come back but sometimes things slip through the cracks. Double check your items before you head to the event.
Damages
We understand that things happen. PLEASE let us know so we can work with it. If it’s an item that can be replaced, we will most likely ask that you replace it. Linens get soiled and may need to be repurchased. We can give you good sources to find replacements. We ask that it be done rapidly since the item may be going out again soon.
Recommending Us
Our borrowing has grown very rapidly through word-of-mouth. Feel free to let your closet friends know but please keep in mind, we loan out our own items and do not ask for deposits or much information outside of a phone number. Before you do the referral, we just ask that YOU KNOW THE PERSON WELL and that you’d be willing to help us resolve something with them if it’s needed.
Send Us Photographs
We love using your photos on our page to help showcase the items for borrow. It makes our hearts sing to see your creativity. Twe ask for in trade when borrowing.
Donations
Our ministry continues to grow mostly because of generosity. If there are items you have purchased and will not need after your event, would you kindly consider donating them? Blessing another event is a heartwarming deed.
Contacting Us
It’s best to contact us through text and phone calls. We love helping you plan but understand we spend a lot of time answering questions. Some of your questions can be answered by looking at the page so PLEASE go there first if possible.
What Next?
Go through the FB page and take screen shots of what you’d like to borrow or look at.
If you’d like to see items in person then text us to schedule a time. Have those screen shots with you to make the visit go faster.
If you don’t need to visit in person then send us the photos of what you’d like to borrow and we can reserve them for you if they are available.
