Pit 315 BBQ

What a week it's been! The bookings have started, and it seems winter is on its way out. I wanted to put a PSA out for all of our supportive customers, friends and family making everyone aware that this barbeque season will be extremely tight. We are expecting our 3rd little one (1st baby girl) to the family this May!

What does this mean? As most of you know and those that don't, I am a one man show for the most part and this is not my full-time job. I will be making sure that we have ample time to spend together and help take care of what will be a party of five total.

If you have dates that you want to get checked out, please get them in as soon as possible. The current menu is changing slightly as we speak for the 2024 season and will be posted within the next week.

I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause, we're looking forward to this years barbeque season and to meeting little miss Smith in May!

Interesting BBQ fact #3!

In 2009, researchers found mammoth ribs (photo unavailable, due to extinction) in a 4-ft. cooking pit that appeared to date back to 29,000 B.C. The area was also covered with conch shells, which made archaeologists wonder whether the barbecue had been a "surf-and-turf" meal.

Interesting BBQ Fact #2- If you float your hand over your grill, do it with purpose, but always safely. Hold your palm five inches above the grill and count the number of seconds before you feel the urge to yank it away. If it last 2-4 seconds its 450-550 degrees Fahrenheit, 5-7- 350-450 and 8-10 250-350.
