As we wrap up our second night of the Home and Garden Show, we have been so blessed with all of our friends, neighbors and relatives that have come by to see us!! Also so many past and future clients.🥰 We are looking forward to all of our weekend visitors!!

Well, here we were, setting up again for our 16th Home and Garden Show!! Thanks to my husband Phil and his brother Ron, we got everything there, and set up yesterday!!🤗 I just have to add more signs and the animals, and it will be ready!! Taking the new set of pigs in for practice tonight.🐷🐮🐰🐔🐴

Today part of the AG crew is at the National Reindeer Farmers Association conference to better our understanding and care for our reindeer.

Even though we have owned reindeer for over 20 years there is always room for improvement and learning.

This was a typical Valentine’s Day involving my family!! I helped deliver flowers for the Rhinestones and Roses Ft. Wayne store, my daughters made so many arrangements!! Then doing chores tonight, I realized another first time mom-to-be goat was having issues delivering her baby!! So at about 9pm, I assisted and we got her out!!❤️ Everyone meet Lil’ Love!!💖💕💗

Not exactly what I was planning on doing tonight!!
One of my little goats was about to give birth and was having issues. The baby came out, head first. With animals, the front feet are supposed to come out first, so it got stuck. Don’t ask me how, but I got it out. As I was making sure it could breathe, the second one plopped out on my leg!!🤗🐐🥰

On this date February 2, 1984, Animal-Grams began!! My sister Judy was my partner in the business. We went to a Dentist office, where Bliss, my first pig, played basketball with recipient, played a piano while we sang, rang a bell, and gave big wet kisses, as well as a card and a pig-shaped cake. At that time there was no social media, and celebrating birthdays, and other occasions, was very popular!! Surprising adults on their birthdays at their work place or other location were the most common. We had been in business for 4 years, doing trained animal shows, petting farms, pony rides, as well as horse and dog training. The animal shows were quite seasonal, so we decided to break it down to bringing either a 300 pound housebroken hog, or a mini horse. We went to any and every location imaginable over our 25 years of celebrating any occasion. Bliss, Ecstasy, and Passion were the 3 different pigs we used. We celebrated well over 3,000 occasions. After the loss of our 3rd pig, in ‘09, we decided to retire this aspect of our business, but kept the name!!🐷🐴

Tonight ended our Reindeer season for 2023. It is our 9th consecutive week/Saturday of sharing our reindeer. It was a home visit for a family’s Christmas!! So honored to be a part of it and every other event we were part of this season!!❤️🦌❤️

It’s only fitting for the next reindeer introduced to be Silver Bells🩶, Nutcracker’s more ornery little brother.

Silver Bells will be two years old in May.🦌

🌟Silver Bells feels comfortable enough to lay down wherever he goes.

🌟He likes to stick his antlers where they don’t belong. This includes using his water bowl as a toy, often throwing it around.

🌟Silver Bells adores Santa Claus and is always excited to see him! He loves people and occasionally you’ll see him trying to sniff their face.

🌟Silver also has a sweet tooth, like his brother, and prefers graham crackers over just about anything else.

🌟Traffic and loud cars buzzing by? Nothing phases Silver Bells.

Meet Nutcracker,🦌 he is our six year old reindeer who is known for his big, beautiful antlers and laid back personality.

Did you know?
🌟Nutcracker is a BIG eater! He’ll notice if you’re behind on bringing out his feed. So much so that once you walk into his pen he will gently guide you to his feeder with his antlers.

🌟He loves to put his antlers where they don’t belong and often thinks he can fit into small places.

🌟Nutcracker loves his handler Jurgin! They’ve been best buds since the beginning. He’ll notice if Jurgin isn’t nearby!

🌟He often forgets his size and when you’re not paying attention in his pen he’ll try to jump up and give a bear hug.

Nutcracker LOVES graham crackers, white bread, rolled oats, and cookies.🍪
He’ll pass on the carrots!

There are hundreds of people who anxiously wait in line every Saturday night at Jefferson Pointe to meet our gentle giant, Nutcracker.

A truly magical creature, Nutcracker is a six year old male who stands to antler top, at about 7 feet tall.🦌 He often enjoys laying down on the job as his antlers weigh over 20lbs resting on top of his head; that’s a lot of extra weight to be carrying around all day!

WANE 15 caught our very own ‘Nutcracker’ at the Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory in downtown Fort Wayne this weekend.
