“Traveling is one of my greatest joys I really value understanding and appreciating other cultures and food. Currently on my list are Vietnam, Thailand and Mexico City.”

✨ CHOOSE YOUR VENDORS WITH INTENTION: Each vendor brings different energy and experience, so we suggest those who best fit your vision. Be clear about your expectations so vendors know what kind of energy to bring.
✨ TIMELINE IS EVERYTHING: Our timeline meeting covers every detail of the day. Remember, the more activities you add, the less time for dancing. You don’t have to follow all the “traditional” things—if a big party is what you want, let’s make it happen!
✨ DO YOU: Make the reception space your own! Glow sticks, special shots, or late-night snacks—add personal touches that make you comfortable and happy. A happy couple means happy guests, which makes for an epic party.
✨ GO DJ THAT’S MY DJ: Give your DJ a clear picture of your music preferences and then let them do their thing. You won’t regret telling your DJ you want an epic dance party and giving them the go-ahead to make it happen.
✨ HEY BARTENDER: The bar team sets the vibe, whether or not you’re serving alcohol. A hype bar team means hype guests, so don’t underestimate their impact!

“Too many to choose from … I love a great party but having a space reveal for the couple is my absolute favorite. Seeing their faces as they notice the personal touches, details, colors, head table and so much more come to life is such a treat.“

“Australia! Any time I see a photo it seems to be so magical with nature and animals …. I just want to hold a 🐨”

“I love Disney solo trips. Something about walking down Main Street, hanging out with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck is an instant mood boost!”

✨THIS WAS THE MOMENT✨ I really realized that this little company I built can do anything…K&A were a dream to work with. Getting them married was such a joy and epic fun. We had done two locations before…but this time was a first with the ceremony and reception locations a full 30 minutes apart and with no cell service up at the lake where the ceremony took place.

K&A made it clear they trusted us and we were a team throughout the planning process and their wedding day. Together we built a rockstar vendor team, we established the timeline of all timelines, and made sure every single person was on the same page.
✨
Every moment during the day was on time - each vendor was able to break bread together at the same time for a full 40 minutes - guests were happy - K&A were happy - vendor team was fire - and the party was absolutely epic!

I am so excited to share moments from their love story because I’m in love with their wedding day and so so happy for these two. So much gratitude to them both for inviting us to be part of their love journey.

“🌬️ Find a comfortable position. Take a deep breath. Spend some time reflecting on what you envision the purpose of this event to be. Sit with your partner and experience your event together - what does it feel like, look like? There is no right or wrong or good or bad way to celebrate your life event 💅🏼 you can do anything you want and so it also goes to say that you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to do. We are here to make sure your decisions feel most aligned with you 💖”

“🎉When the couple has been announced officially wedded, and you can feeeeeel the positive energy and excitement from everyone else; the cheers, the squeals, the claps - it’s a beautiful symphony of love

✨THE BLACK LIST✨ - an ever evolving database of Black owned wedding businesses and wedding industry adjacent businesses. The “Blacklist” has historically referred to the list of people banned or excluded from accessing a particular place, thing, or job. While the etymology of the term is debated, anti-Black sentiment had, and continues to have, Black folks finding themselves barred or blocked from accessing certain things. While this may be the history (and very real present for many of us) behind the name, the goals of this Black List are about reclaiming terminology/voice/mindset and uplifting the brilliant Black business in and around the Sacramento Valley and Bay Area that specifically provide wedding related/adjacent services. It’s about community, empowerment, and collective voice. This list will be available to fellow industry folks as well as clients. While it requires Black owned (or part owned) only on the list itself , it can be shared with anyone regardless of identity. So, this is a call out to all the amazing Black Owned businesses that are in the NorCal wedding industry or adjacent to the industry, for your help in bringing this list to life.
