What began as a friendship at Standish-Sterling High School blossomed into a beautiful marriage on a lovely cool Saturday. Guests traveled from the Sterling area and Indiana to witness this special day. Marcus, Tammy’s brother-in-law, brought the bride’s vision for her arbor to life, perfectly complementing her boho style.

One of the most touching elements was the memorial table featuring a picture holder designed by Tammy, a heartfelt tribute to the loved ones who were there in spirit. John, you’ll need to keep a fresh pair of dancing shoes handy because Tammy is truly a dancing queen! You both absolutely slayed the day!

Ready, set, start your engines!! These two drag racers met at the Northern MI Dragway in Kaleva, MI. Cody rolled up in his 1974 Pontiac Ventura with a 455 and Keira with her 1981 Firebird before walking down the ceremony aisle. It was very fitting and added a personal touch to their day. Guests shared in their love for fast cars, creating a unique atmosphere around the garden area with their cars lined up in front of the tall grass. These two are so into racing that Keira was gifted a LS motor as a wedding gift for her firebird.

What a beautiful celebration of love! Tim and Kylie's journey from their first date at the Snowball dance in the 10th grade to their wedding day is truly heartwarming. It’s incredible to see how their relationship has blossomed over the years!

Nanny certainly knows how to light up the dance floor! Her impressive moves and beaming smile surely added to the joyous atmosphere of the day. It's wonderful to see family members, like Tonya and Jimmy, contributing so much to the wedding preparations— to the set up, detailed whisky barrels and photo backdrop. You two really added a lovely touch to the festivities!

And how adorable was the ring bearer? Zooming down the aisle in his remote car is a memory that will surely be cherished for years to come! Tim and Kylie's wedding was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Congratulations to the happy couple! ❤️

Newly wedded, Zac and Adrianna's wedding was a truly memorable occasion, filled with love, creativity, and special touches that celebrated their unique day. What we thought was a thirty minute dry window of no rain, had us on our toes. The quick thinking of everyone involved, turned a potential challenge into a beautiful moment beneath the oak tree.

The photo dash game added an exciting energy to the celebration, showcasing the fun-loving spirit of the guests. There were incorporated cherished family traditions, like the wedding cake serving set from the bride’s parents from their wedding 32 years ago, and Grandma Sindy's special cookies. They were worth every calorie, Grandma Sindy 🥰 It’s these nostalgic touches that often resonate the most, reminding everyone of the power of love across generations.

One of the most special moments that a couple can share is when the last dance is saved for just the two of them, alone in the barn with the lights dimmed. A moment where Zac and Adrianna can look at each other, reflect on their day and say I just married my best friend today ❤️

The rain added an element of suspense for us yesterday and luckily skies cleared twenty minutes before the outdoor ceremony, later gifting us with a beautiful full rainbow. Chelsea's heartfelt performance during the ceremony of "Thank God I Do" by Lauren Daigle to Tyler was a beautiful heartfelt vulnerable moment and what a moment it was. The souvenir piece of driftwood on the head table from the Lake of the Clouds in the Porcupine Mountains, was a beautiful symbol from Tyler’s proposal and added a nice personal touch. The dance floor had great energy and a special shout out to the large neighborhood crew from downstate on Borowy Drive and Annison for heating it up💃🏼🕺🏻

A special mention for maid of honor, Hannah, and tribe is well-deserved! You ladies did a wonderful job making sure it was the best day ever! And of course, Chelsea's radiant smile was the highlight, lighting up not just the ceremony but the hearts of everyone present. You two are perfect together! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable moments!

Guests travelled from downstate to celebrate the marriage of newly wedded, Brian and Jordyn Creighton. Jordyn told her father, Rich, that all they wanted for their wedding gift was a custom arbor for their ceremony and to later cherish in their yard at home. Rich hand selected branches of muscle wood, sanded each piece and varnished to perfection. The love of this special arbor took over a month and it was worth the time and labor. It was gorgeous, Rich!!

C8H1NO2 (dopamine) + C10H12N2O (serotonin) + C43H66N12012S2 (oxytocin) = newly wedded Matt and Kinsey Freer ❤️ This is the perfect love formula we witnessed when a chemist meets a biologist (see how we did that 😉). Matt proposed to Kinsey at Higgins lake and the couple did a wonderful job hosting their out of town guests all weekend, showing off how special our area is. They rented out the North Higgins Lake State Park pavilion, had a few boats on hand to cruise and give the kids tube rides, kayaked the Ausable River with their guests, held their rehearsal dinner at the Cut River Grill, played pickleball at the local courts and breakfast with guests at the Beechwood Cafe. Sounds like a perfect wedding weekend with perfect weather ❤️

We couldn’t be happier for you guys and it was a gorgeous wedding! We loved your first dance, enjoyed watching the ladies with heels on crush the limbo game on the dance floor, the gorgeous flowers, the babysitting room and your love for each other! You really compliment each other well ❤️

Wow! What a wedding! The heat could not defeat the love at The Barn yesterday. If you weren’t sharing tears of love for the special mother/daughter dance or the bride or groom dancing with their parents than you were cry laughing during the scavenger wedding game. What a fun touch and a first we’ve seen at our venue. Guests also loved the late night snack from CP’s 🌮 truck. It was also a special moment that we got to capture Dominic’s first look with Juliana in our garden area. We could go on and on about how great this wedding was but really in the end, it was the love of the family and the guests that made this day so special. Juliana knocked it out of the ballpark with her planning and ex*****on! Great job to the wedding tribe!

We originally met Tyler and Ashley when they rolled up for their wedding tour in their traveling transit van with the coolest dog ever, Pablo. Most guests travelled from the Detroit area and it was quite the celebration last night! You guys did not disappoint! They say it’s good luck to rain on your wedding day and newly wedded, Jacob and Jen Vankampen, got A LOT of luck on their wedding day last Saturday. They held their intimate ceremony in front of our newly decorated wall with lights and sheers. We had many firsts at this wedding and even a tornado warning. Jen looked gorgeous as she walked down the aisle and we are thrilled you two have officially tied the knot with your beautiful blended family.

Their tribe was fierce and we had the pleasure of watching their wedding party/family create a beautiful atmosphere. They were not going to let the rain get in their way. Guests arrived from 17 states to celebrate newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Block! The Barn was filled with so much love, joy and excitement last night ❤️ Let’s not forget the bride’s dance moves either 🔥 We caught a beautiful moment right before Joslyn’s dad walked her down the aisle. A moment we will never forget when he looked at his little girl and passionately stated with so much love, “This is the BEST day EVER!” He was so excited that her day finally arrived. We’re also pretty sure Matthew experienced his full spectrum of emotions during the best man speech. Their favorite bakery from way up north in Rapid River delivered the most delicious cupcakes for the occasion and now we know why.

The day finally arrived for newly wedded, Mr. & Mrs. Hill! Melanie was determined to get married in our garden area, rain or shine, and they made it happen. Caleb and Melanie stayed dry under a tent and their guests stayed dry under the covered porch and barn with the double barn doors open 🥰 We were introduced to the cash for smash the cake in your face game and also the table who had the highest cash bid offered we’re allowed to eat first. Caleb clearly lost the cake game! Local Ford dealer, Hart Ford, helped the couple ride out in style with a beautiful new Bronco 🥰 Nice touch, Hart!!

We will never forget the fierce tribe that showed up with their hearts full of love and their willingness to do whatever it took to make this day happen! Your love and bond is so beautiful! What a beautiful family you have, Caleb and Melanie!

What a gorgeous wedding yesterday for newly wedded, Andrew and Taylor Utech! It was one of our smaller weddings and oh so perfect! Even though Andrew and Taylor reside in Colorado, Higgins Lake is near and dear to their heart ❤️ We loved the Higgins Lake air fresheners for one of their party favors and the cute cat scratching on the side of the wedding cake was adorable 🥰 Logan Moore did a great job entertaining the guests and Fred’s restaurant catered the delicious reception food. Your tribe did an awesome job and it was beautiful seeing your family and friends celebrate you two!

Bryan and Laura’s special day finally arrived! Weather was absolutely perfect, their love is beautiful and don’t get us started on their first dance 🔥❤️

Sharing their intimate head table with each of their beautiful daughters set the tone of their special family bond. Because we’ve been given so many donations by our previous couples, we quickly grew full in the basement of complimentary decor. Thank you for all the donations!!!
