Catering day! Last Sunday we had the honor to cater the dessert and appetizer tables for Veronica’s graduation party! Ana & Pedro , a very proud parents, prepared an amazing “parrillada” …. It is always fun partner with them, and this time was very special. Seeing their daughter graduating and starting a new journey is very exciting! Congratulations Veronica, the world is awaiting for you!

Hello everyone! Thank you for your messages and texts. 2025 has been a roller coaster… unexpected and expected situations made me take a break from … my son got married! (Expected and very happy) and I hope I can come back fully recover (unexpected - not too happy, but life continues) and back on track by summer. In the meantime, we are still baking! SUSPIRO LIMEÑO. This dessert originated in the 19th century in the capital city of Peru, Lima. The name Suspiros Limeño came from the well known poet Jose Gálvez Barrenechea. The story goes that as the poet tried a dessert that his loving wife - Amparo Áurea, had prepared for him, he became delighted by the taste and texture. His words apparently were “Delicate and sweet like the sigh of a woman” .. in Spanish: delicado and dulce como el suspiro de una Limeña (woman from Lima) …. Would you like to try this unique dessert? CAUSA: it is suggested that it comes from the Quechua word “kawsay” that means “ necessary food”. In the ancients Peru it was prepared with mash potatoes and crushed Aji Amarillo.
