Back in Columbia, and wanted to share with you my favorite Peruvian Street Food…. Anticuchos!!! The original and the only one is prepared with beef heart…. Yes, you are reading correctly. Actually in Peru we eat the whole cow….
But back to the Anticuchos, this dish comes from the colonial times. Their texture and flavor I can’t describe….. you must to try it. For the less adventurous, you can get the Anticuchos with Beef or Chicken, that are delicious.

Today is my last day in Peru - my roots and my heart .
Today is my last day here, in this beautiful city - Lima - with and amazing cuisine, history, ocean, sunsets, friends, family, and a chaotic traffic, and same time best drivers ever! Ha ha. After 20 years that I didn’t visit Lima, I found a modern and clean city, amazing restaurants, a fun and happy city. I hope you have the opportunity to visit someday… You won’t be disappointed.

The story started in 2012, at the 701 Whaley Street farmers’ market. We wanted to bring to Columbia something different, something unique, something that you coudn’t find in the state of South Carolina. Peruvian Alfajores were the starting point of this busines, and remain as our best seller. Since that day, our menu has been re-shaped, improved, re-invented, and we continued to change.
