Good morning from Boiled and Smoked. It’s that time of year, crawfish and shrimp. We can’t wait to be able to get the trailer out and serving you as soon as possible. We have missed seeing our customers and can’t wait to see what 2024 has to offer.
With that being said 2023 is still looming over us and won’t let go just yet. The heat and drought during the summer and into late fall has shown a tremendous impact on early season crawfish. Prices are 50% higher along with the catch also being down 65 to 75% than this time last year. With that being said, at this time we will hold off running the trailer until prices reach a more realistic number. If you are interested in buying crawfish for an event (a sack or more) contact us and we will make arrangements or if you are wanting to host a private event, we can get you scheduled with an agreed upon price and a signed contract. A deposit will be required for all private events.
