It's that time of year again for Mack & Jack Events to release up and coming wedding trends!

🧋This week's trend is interactive drink stations at weddings-each offering a unique twist to elevate your celebration!

🍸 Choose a station that invites guest participation-pushing a button, ringing a bell, or choosing garnishes adds an element of fun and connection. This will keep your guests engaged and hydrated.

Here are just a few of our favorites-

🥂 "Ring for Champagne"
Station- Guests ring a decorative bell and a white-gloved attendant pours them a glass of champagne—a glamorous and theatrical experience!

☕️ Mobile or DIY Beverage Trucks and Stands-
Whether it's a coffee truck or vintage cocktail cart, these mobile bars add charm and let guests choose their drink on the go!

🥤 Dirty Soda Bar-
A setup of soda cans or bottles, cute cups and straws, and flavored mixes like vanilla, fruit flavors, or chocolate flavors. Make it fun and easy for your guests by adding drink recipes to the station for easy mixing!

🍹Mimosa or Boozy Float Station-
Guests mix juices, garnishes, or even cocktails like mimosa towers or boozy floats-fun, interactive, and definitely crowd-pleasing!

🚨 VENUE COORDINATORS AND WEDDING PLANNERS/DAY-OF COORDINATORS ARE NOT THE SAME 🚨

Here’s why: Venue coordinators are representatives of the venue itself. They work diligently to ensure that the venue is well-maintained and supervise key aspects such as bathroom layout, coordination with the cleaning crew, and the setup or drop-off of other vendors, such as bakers, DJs, and florists. Their primary responsibility is to make sure the venue runs smoothly and effectively, representing the interests of the venue, not the couple.

In contrast, a wedding planner acts as a representative for the couple. Their role is to ensure that the couple, the bridal party, and their families are well taken care of and that everything runs seamlessly on the wedding day. This involves a multitude of tasks both before the wedding and throughout the day itself. Some of these tasks include checking in on the couple and the bridal party to ensure they have everything they need. If something is missing, the planner will run out for last-minute errands, assist with wrapping bouquets, and make sure the groomsmen's ties or bowties are properly tied and boutonnieres are in place.

Wedding planners also ensure that everyone is lined up for the ceremony, that the bride's gown is perfectly fluffed, and that the veil is positioned just right. They work to make sure the couple has adequate food during dinner and that guests are enjoying themselves. If any issues arise, wedding planners handle them discreetly, allowing the couple to enjoy their perfect day without stress.

We have never met a bridal party we didn't LOVE! 🫶 One of the best parts of being wedding planners and coordinators is being able to assist and support every aspect of the day, including taking care of your bridal party. Your bridesmaids and groomsmen should not have to handle setting up, decorating, cleaning up, or tearing down. The bridesmaids may need an extra bobby pin, safety pin, or their bouquet ribbon might need to be re-wrapped. The groomsmen may need help with their tie or boutonniere, or maybe they need a simple reminder of how to stand when they reach the end of the aisle. We have assisted with all of these things and more! If you are getting married, let us know how we can help you have your dream day and ensure that you and your bridal party have the best day possible!
