I've cleaned them all up by hand, added rose hips, dried roses, sugar, cinnamon, cardamom & vanilla pods. I've cover them over with yummy brandy and will shake every day for weeks and weeks and have a beautiful, delicious elixir of love all winter long.
Making your own food is magic, you can meditate anything on it as you make it and set that intention right to it.

Wowie. What a sweet summer we are having. I am thankful to be able to work from home, have the company of my doggos, enjoy the garden & be able to use my own produce for catering projects, pop in on my farm friends and be able to use local products from them. I'm thankful to have rebuilding & keeping these old Land Rovers running right outside my kitchen window.
I'm thankful to each of you that have hired me my first catering season while I work on building my client list and portfolio. Thank you to Sweet Jayne for digging out your camera yesterday and working with me on a content day.

Wow! How about that storm last night?!? We are fortunate enough to still have power, and the only thing that toppled over was a few of my sunflowers. Made a batch of tomato jam & boursin cheese turnovers for breakfast. Hoping you still have power, or at least it returns quickly.
The time of year when you are harvesting herbs to dry for winter but also still making fresh bouquets for every sweet container in every cozy spot of your house.
Thankful for this day.

Total stunners! If you dig plants and flowers as much as me this spot should be on your bucket list. Between June 12th & 20th (ish) is peak for the orchids. Definitely make a road trip out of it if you are coming from a ways away. So precious.

Found the mother load of a Nettle patch today. These nutritious greens make me so happy. Today I added the first batch into a ham & bean soup that's going with focaccia for dinner.

Well, if there were a day to have to cook a whole bunch of food, today would be it. Roasting turkey, making treats, prepping quiche, and stirring soup while the snow piles up. How lucky am I that I get to make food for people to enjoy.
Ordering is open now. Typically I'll post this on Sunday but the learning curve was unbelievable on this for me. The link for ordering is from the square page and somehow not all items have correct dates and times on them.
BUT. Order now to Wednesday midnight and your items will be ready on Friday to pick up at my place between 3 and 6:30pm

Favorite thing I got to make today were the Tart au Sucre. Classic little French Canadian maple syrup tarts and then I added a little Chantilly cream & gold dust. For a little while, as I get all my cylinders running, I'm going to do a weekly pop over to my place pick up.
You will need to drive out my way BUT then we can hug and say hi. I miss cooking for my COMMUNITY so much.
